David Dobbler was very knowledgeable and did a great job with the sale. The finance department was very accommodating and DID NOT try to OVER SELL me on service packages! Kudos to them for getting me just with the sale. The finance department was very accommodating and DID NOT try to OVER SELL me on service packages! Kudos to them for getting me just what I need. The 2010 Mini Cooper is great! I would recommend this car and this dealership again! A+++++!!!! More
Best car buying experience of my life. Efficient, quick, extremely friendly management and staff. Kyle Lightfoot delivered all as promised, and spent a very cold evening outside going over the car with m extremely friendly management and staff. Kyle Lightfoot delivered all as promised, and spent a very cold evening outside going over the car with me before I drove it out of the dealership. He was very clear about the cost of the car and took me out to the yard to show me the three cars he had available in white, helping me to make my selection. He advised me to take out tyre insurance, and explained all the benefits of this added insurance. I shall certainly be recommending Mini of Morristown to any of my friends and acquaintances looking to this brand of car, and will definitely point them in Kyle's direction. A very pleasant and well-groomed young man, with a delightful personality. More
Steven was a lot of fun to deal with, never pressured us into the sale. Showed us all out options and went over all the features. Knew more about the mini then any other dealership I visited. This was our third mini and by far the best experience ever. We will continue our relationship with Steven for sure. More
Overall, the experience was great!I will give this dealer a 4, just because the price on labor was high and the lack of loaner cars made me to re-schedule my day. I was pleased to be greeted and I liked how a 4, just because the price on labor was high and the lack of loaner cars made me to re-schedule my day. I was pleased to be greeted and I liked how the Service Advisor, Erving Sanchez listened to me and let me explain the reason why I was taking my car in. I told him I wanted to be proactive about a recall for MINI on the time tensioner chain, even though my car didn't fall into it, he took the time to check it. Turns out my car did need that recall to be fixed, he explained to me what was wrong with my car and also advised me about my rear breaks, which I went ahead and got them to change them. Luckily, my car is still under warranty for major fixed and this was cover by the manufacturer. I have to pay for the break service only, which I considered was high. I have to say, after reading previous reviews about this dealer I couldn't understand why people weren't please with their customer service since I had a great experience. More
Unfortunately, I had to go to this dealer to get a flat tire replaced after superstorm sandy last year. I have the tire insurance and have had tires replaced painlessly at my dealer elsewhere in NJ. Here I tire replaced after superstorm sandy last year. I have the tire insurance and have had tires replaced painlessly at my dealer elsewhere in NJ. Here I waited more than 5 hours and was told repeatedly it was due to the insurance I had purchased from the other dealer and that this dealer didn't sell that particular insurance. In addition, they told me I should have other tires replaced due to the wear and I declined (thankfully since I took my car to my dealer a few weeks later and they told me the tires were fine). After waiting 5+ hours, I was obviously frustrated and watched the service manager leave for lunch without providing an update. I finally just asked them to replace the tire and that I would pay for it and wait for the insurance to reimburse me. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and the rudeness. Having sat there for an extended period of time, I saw the way they treated other customers. I just purchased a new mini and did not even consider going to this dealer even though they were technically more convenient. More
I bought my used 2008 Mini Cooper from Mini of Morristown this summer. The Salesman was great during the purchase, but I have heard that going back to dealerships for service on your car was a money pit...however, they seemed SO nice during the purchase and even though Morristown is trip from Nyack NY--I felt that I could trust them. When went back because of a service light and a tire pressure warning light--I was sure it was going to be expensive, but everything was covered excepted for the lug nut that was missing from my tire. They threw that in for free. They were fast, friendly, washed my car and gave me coffee--what more could you want? More

Erving Sanchez has serviced my 2006 Mini Cooper for 3 years, first as the foreman/technician and now as a service manager. He is the reason I return to this dealership over and over. Once when the sunr years, first as the foreman/technician and now as a service manager. He is the reason I return to this dealership over and over. Once when the sunroof motor failed, Erving talked me through manually closing my sunroof OVER THE PHONE until I could get the car in to be serviced. He is always helpful and flexible. He treats his customers as if they are family and is always honest about what needs to be fixed and what can wait until a later date. Now, I have a 2011 Mini Cooper and live in Boston, MA. I drive 5 hours to have my car serviced at Mini of Morristown because of Erving. His expertise and knowledge are invaluable! It is SO hard to find a good honest mechanic these days, especially at a dealership. Thanks Erving!!! More
I purchased my 2006 Mini Cooper S Cabrio with automatic transmission (MCSCa) July 15, 2006. While that was a smooth transaction, this review is of the service department, as I have used it exclusively, sa transmission (MCSCa) July 15, 2006. While that was a smooth transaction, this review is of the service department, as I have used it exclusively, save for one emergency visit elsewhere when I could not get to Morristown. In my 7+ years of ownership, Erving Sanchez and Fred Gallo have both been constants in the service department. Fred ran the service desk and became department manager, while Erving was the shop foreman and recently started running the service desk. Though I have used this dealer for service for 7+ years, I am writing this review specifically because in the past month I had occasion from, replacement of my OEM shocks with KONI shocks, to be reminded just how much I love these guys. So, why use a dealership once the car is out of warranty? I think they would typically be more expensive and I am sure there must be places that would undercut their price. I came in with that perception, but learned I could trust I'd not get beaten up on price. Well, early on while under warranty, I learned that Erving, besides being one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, is a master mechanic. In the tri-state area there is probably no one better. If you don't accept that, sign up for the North American Motoring website and read the forums. This is a site devoted to Mini owner-enthusiasts. So, with only 45K miles on the car, I didn't need a lot of maintenance over the years, but like many Mini owners, I've done many upgrades, or modifications. I didn't want anyone but Erving working on or supervising these modifications and I wasn't treated badly on the pricing, which made the whole experience a pleasure. I had the best in the business doing my work and I wasn't getting hosed either. Dealership shops have standard times to do the various services to vehicles. Well, these guys were fair. If the book was right, they stuck to it. If the book was too generous, they cut me the slack. Considering I was always getting excellent work, I was feeling very fairly treated. Additionally, they were doing some fairly sophisticated work at times. They easily could have jacked the cost, but they never did and Erving always reviewed the nuances of what they were doing, or contending with, when a modification of a non-OEM part was being installed. Just to frame this for those who have any idea about modifications, they changed out my original dash for JCW carbon fiber, put in a Euro parcel shelf, changed to a JCW air box, upgraded my rear sway bar and upper and lower control arms to NME, put in a Craven reduction pulley for the supercharger, added front camber plates, put in a TSW under chassis brace, upgraded to KONI shocks and a TCE big brake kit front and rear, and a Milltek exhaust. I'd say I know their service department pretty well by now. And I handled a few simple mods myself (e.g., M7 strut brace and air diverter, ALTA silicone tubing, a PU carbon fiber hood scoop, etc.), so I know this is no easy task. As stated, my latest experience was my KONI shock replacement. Not all non-OEM parts always go in so easily as you might think. This was one of those times. There was a hitch and Fred Gallo, the manager, phoned me about it to try to work out a resolution. He also spoke to the distributor too. He went above and beyond to find a solution and then Erving made sure the adaptation was made to make it all work. I now am driving on the new KONI shocks and love the feel. While Erving has been the master mechanic, Fred has always been a great person to work with in making arrangements. As long as I'd call a few weeks in advance (and even sometimes when I couldn't), he'd accommodate the appointment times I requested and the loaner car arrangements I needed. This time, while in for the KONI shock replacement, was no exception. I wanted to try out the new coupe and Fred arranged that as my loaner. Fred and Erving make a great team. Even now that Erving has moved out of the service bays, I know he still goes back there to check on things and he still road tests the results and his road test of the new KONIs after addressing the fitments issue was the reason why my ride is now so much improved. It is comforting to know he's looking out for me and my Mini. Frankly, I was shocked by the few bad reviews. I suppose anyone can have a bad day, but even when something didn't go quite perfectly, as happened on this shock replacement, I found these two gents going above and beyond to fix things. I give them my highest recommendation. More
