Best Used Car Buying Experience Ever!! I stopped in to "look" as my son's 2006 Subaru was now 10 years old and I had just paid $400 to remediate a "check engine light". "What was next"? Within 10 minutes at Mohawk I met Jenn Diciero who after a brief discussion advised they had just taken in a 2013 Civic. Jenn brought it around and although a little dirty, it seemed to fit the bill. Recently, we needed to replace an aging conversion van and were in the market for a Pilot. Like others, we browsed Mohawk's online inventory and walked around their lot looking at available cars. Unfortunately, the Pilot we had our eye on had a "sold" sign on it. But, we spotted a 2016 used Acura RDX with low miles that was immaculate inside and out. We made an appointment to test drive it. Brian McKenna was our salesman and was very easy to deal with. The entire buying experience from start to finish with Brian was relaxed, friendly and professional. Mohawk Honda is a very welcoming place! After looking at a bunch of cars online first, my husband and I decided that it would be a good idea to look at pilot, so he sent me alone to go test After looking at a bunch of cars online first, my husband and I decided that it would be a good idea to look at pilot, so he sent me alone to go test drive some pilots. We decided it was best to drive down from the Utica area and go to Mohawk Honda because they had the largest number of new pilots on site, and I would be able to get a good idea of what package I wanted with so many on site. Upon walking in I was very impressed at the dealership itself, it was everything I hoped it would be! I noted earlier that my husband sent me alone, I did that because at other dealerships I was not helped or even "seen" because I was alone looking at cars. Here at Mohwak Honda I was helped very quickly and set up with a wonderful knowlegable sales person, Cam. He took the time to explain all the different functions of the car to me. He also made sure I was understanding what he was saying before he went on. He took the time to explain the differences between the different levels of the pilots to me. He was so patient while I asked all of my quirky questions. He understood that I came from a ways away and really needed to be sure this was the right car for me and to do it I really needed to drive the car. By the end of the day I went on three different test drives, so I could feel the difference between the 9 speed and the 6 speed transmission, and so I could get a feel for the car on the highway. During this whole process I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and everyone was so helpful from the top down. This is my first Honda and I am so glad I came to Mohawk Honda! More
