I took my BMW SW location to get an oil change. I thought my vehicle was still under warranty, Nothing was wrong other than a routine oil change. I asked them to check to see if other issues . I r I thought my vehicle was still under warranty, Nothing was wrong other than a routine oil change. I asked them to check to see if other issues . I received a loaner for a couple days. I got a callback from my advisor, stating that my warranty is no longer good. He told me everything on my vehicle was OK. I picked my vehicle up yesterday June 13. While driving home I made one stop. When I got back in my car immediately THE CHECK engine light comes on. How ironic is that !!! I called my advisor today and let him know that, I thought it was strange that my check engine light came on after I just brought my car in to get a a regular oil change. I drove my car back to BMW on SW location today, June 14. My advisor had them check it out for me. They apparently, reset the check engine light and I was told if it comes back on I would probably need a thermostat. I didn’t have ANY ISSUES with my car before bring it to the dealer for a regular oil change. I have an issue with the timing and question the service recommendation. Not a Happy Customer !!! More
