Great experience We bought a motorhome had a great salesman Stavan. Was worried about bad reviews called the general manager and even return my call in the same day. Stay the night found a few things wrong with the motorhome. They were minor things and we're fixed immediately. This is our third motorhome to buy from them never had any problems with the service department. Will write another review if we have to use the service department this time More

I've had to call them every time to get anywhere with anyone. Try and complain to the "managers" and all you'll get is a phone call from the lousy sales staff. they don't care about you as a single customer because they're too busy being "the worlds largest". They are the worlds largest alright...the worlds largest waste of time. More

SHOP HERE FIRST / MHSRV / BEST PRICE / SALES EXPERIENCE From the time we first set foot on their huge complex to driving off in our new RV a few weeks later they were nothing but professional, helpful, frie From the time we first set foot on their huge complex to driving off in our new RV a few weeks later they were nothing but professional, helpful, friendly and enjoyable to work with during what could be a stressful time for such a large purchase. Justin Nasiff (sales) was very patient during our first visit as I asked to return a time or two to see coaches we had already walked through. Then, after we returned home and I reached out several times Justin was always responsive and helpful. We did our financing outside of MHSRV which was probably a mistake. (We went with Good Sam Finance / Bank of The West / Jim Pena and that was horrible... we almost didn't close on time due to Jim.... that review is for a different day... but, stay away from them/him). The good news regarding our financing is Mark Henry (finance/paperwork) was VERY helpful. In fact it was him that reach out to me to tell me the news that Good Sam had told HIM they weren't going to fund on time... they never did.... Anyway... Mark offered a solution and was willing to work late and walk my paperwork through if I didn't get Good Sam to fix their error. Thank you Mark. On closing day, our walk through of the new coach was with Collin. Very helpful and fixed a couple small items on the spot. Collin is very knowledgeable about the coaches and would probably do well in sales with his great attitude to match his level of expertise. Also, our trade-in inspection went very well and smooth. (If you didn't know they can give you trade value without ever seeing your coach. You fill out an online form, which is very lengthy and specific. But... that is for a reason.... so they can give you numbers before you have to drive it over there.... ) I was honest on the form so there were no "adjustments" on our trade value after the inspection. They also allow you to park your trade right next to your new coach to move all your stuff over. They even allow you to spend the night right there in their on-property RV park. This is our second RV.... the only regret is we didn't buy our first one at MHSRV. Don't you make that mistake.... if you are not at least giving these folks a chance you are missing out. I'm a "research" guy and I'm here to tell you MHSRV has the best prices. You may think they do the old "add-on this/that, fee, etc" at closing but they don't. They aren't like "the other guys". I sensed a take-it-or-leave-it attitude from the management at MHS, although the salesman seemed very diligent. The smaller dealer had a lot more desire to work with me to make the sale happen. I don't think that MHS felt my sale was important, and I hope that this doesn't transfer to the service department. More

NO SERVICE IN ALVARADO TEXAS This Company in my opinion is the worst of the worst! I had my RV serviced under warranty from this company. I drove my RV 250 miles from Houston because I thought because this is a big company that I would get my RV serviced and covered under the first year warranty. Forest River had already agreed to pay for the new windshield that was leaking on the day I bought my brand new Forest River FR3 25ds. The service writer told me that it would be 4 to 6 weeks. After 6 weeks the service writer Tammy informed me that they just pulled the RV up for service. That means that if they had to order parts than obviously it was going to take way more that 6 weeks as promised. The told me that Forest River would not pay for my brand new windshield because it has a crack in it. I have an email from Forest River that they are going to pay for it. When I asked my Forest River rep they told me that Motor Home Specialist never even submitted the windshield for warranty. I had a headlight switch repaired under warranty. Yes it was broken the day I bought RV brand new off the show room floor. Even though the switch was under full warranty Motor Home Specialist decided that they would glue my switch back together. Yes people that's correct Motor Home Specialist glued my brand new switch back together. I even have this in writing. I would be happy to share with anyone who wants to see my invoice from Motor Home Specialist. Paul Talisman at 713-858-6212. Just call me if you need more information. I am sure the owners at Motor Home Specialist will not even reach out to me. This is the most incompetent Company I have ever dealt with in the Automotive industry period. I still can't believe that they put in writing that they glued my switch back together. Motor Home Specialist winterized my coach without telling about it. The gave me my RV back completely taken apart. They failed to put the plugs back in and they left all the wires off the water heater. After 10 weeks I finally found out that Tammy no longer works for Motor Home Specialist. I asked the service manager when they were going to call me and let me know.? So to sum this all up this is the worst Company in my opinion to get your RV serviced! More

No less than 5 weeks per visit with no communication, after promise after promise from service personnel . Then excuse after excuse of why no communication had been made to me as customer Took my new rv in with appt set and Tammy, service consultant was excellent. First time anyone kept me abreast of progress of repair, even though it still took 5'weeks to receive unit back. Tammy needs to hold a seminar with other service consultants on customer satisfaction and communication. Delay of repair was due to parts ordering. Hopefully service will get better in future but has improved since last purchase. Way to go Tammy and Robert as y'all have me a more satisfied customer and would purchase again when I get ready to trade. MHS needs more Tammys and Roberts to increase customer loyalty and repurchase intent. 5 star rating is due to sales, f&i, and strictly Tammy in service. More

Service is what we didn't seem to get when we REALLY needed it. Their mechanic/service folks were great and we met wonderful folks. But when you really NEED service, like, your first trip in your new RV, and everything important quits working (no air conditioning in 100 degree heat and food going bad in refrigerator that is no longer working), you are 2.5 hours from home, with prepaid mini vacation weekend, with children under age 5, you are OUT of Luck. Possibly if you can plan your crisis on a weekday, and not on a weekend, it might be better. Find a dealership that you can call in an emergency and can help resolve your situation-when you need them the most. More
