I purchased a 2011 Chevrolet 1500 crew cab pickup truck from the dealership in May of 2024. When I was in the dealership to discuss the purchase, I wanted to leave and think about it since they were offer from the dealership in May of 2024. When I was in the dealership to discuss the purchase, I wanted to leave and think about it since they were offering too little for my trade-in. I knew the value of my trade-in and they were too low on the valuation and wouldn't budge. I repeated that I wanted to leave and think about it, they wouldn't give me my keys back to my car and let me leave. They wound up offering me $2k more for the trade-in, if I remember correctly, leaving me with $2k for the loan balance for the truck. A month later, the truck died. It had to have a new engine. I wasn't told about any potential engine issues with that truck and that the person who brought it in hadn't reported any issues. There was no offer to help make the financial situation right for me. If I could leave a zero star rating, I would. I was told by John Goodwin that if I referred anyone in to the dealership and they made a purchase that I could get a referral payment. I called John Goodwin after I had been told by a coworker that they had made a purchase there. John told me it was too late for me to get that referral payment since I hadn't told him about that within a certain time limit I hadn't been made aware of previously. More

I would “ NEVER do business with any Mountain View ford again !!!!I’d rather walk ! they have zero “ Integrity! Or Care for customers once they sign & bumper to bumper warranty is a lie with in a month again !!!!I’d rather walk ! they have zero “ Integrity! Really????was told by that establishment & ford motet company “I need to file a claim with my insurance !!!! Nope the truck was obviously not properly painted !!! I should be able to wash my truck ! Gave me the wrong truck when I bought ! Had to drive a 1000 miles back to get what I thought I bought ,left me setting for hours all day ! to be treated very poorly as if there mistaken was my fault ! Lies and very dishonest ! I have purchased many cars / trucks in my 64 years ! I have crossed not one ethical person at there establishment ! Do NOT buy from Mountain View Ford down town Chatt. Said it was blue certified but didn’t do any of the checks in it besides the oil change, was in the shop for weeks right after buying, and had to replace two other issues in my own.
