I went to the dealer where the car was purchased because of an issue with the steering rack. I told them that is what I thought the problem was based on my experience and research. I was told that is was ve of an issue with the steering rack. I told them that is what I thought the problem was based on my experience and research. I was told that is was very unlikely that was the problem and that they would start looking in other places. They spent about 5 hours checking a number of different items to ultimately tell me that the problem was most likely what I originally told them. They charged me $450 in diagnostic charges and left me with no diagnosis of what is specifically wrong. Just 3 very expensive parts to start throwing at it to see if it fixes the problem. They also gave me a list of items they said need immediate attention totaling $7600. Keep in mind this vehicle is a 2017 with only 58k miles. Beware of this dealership trying to steal your money.
