When I questioned, the woman asked me if anyone told me when I dropped the car about diagnostic service. I said no and then she had me talk to another service Case Manager and he explained that they just fixed the recall. If the light is on it means there is a problem with the airbag and that required $150 to do a diagnostic to determine problem then there would be a cost to fix it. If I had been told this when I dropped my car off I would have had the diagnostic done. Makes no sense to not advise up front the possibility of needing a diagnostic. Or how about call me while you have my car to say “hey we fixed the recall item but the light is on which means we need to determine what else is wrong ... there is a fee...do you want us to take a look?” Disappointing after feeling like the dealership had its act together when I dropped off my car. More
