My Ford F150 was consuming an extraordinary amount oil which took me a while to notice because one doesn’t expect this in on any new truck . Finally after several incidents that I caught strange , one day which took me a while to notice because one doesn’t expect this in on any new truck . Finally after several incidents that I caught strange , one day my truck had zero oil in it and I was still 500 miles to next old change .Obviously at this point now even I am sure that I have an engine problem . So it stressed me out after being told that even with a factory warranty this dealership wanted to charge me a down payment of 1400 dls to take engine a part and to try to justify reason for mechanical intervention and produce proof to Ford warranty . And if the engine wasn’t covered for what ever minor reason (which they could have made up ) the entire bill would have fallen on me to pay. They weren’t guaranteeing a full warranty coverage . Can u imagine the cost of a new engine ?? So I knew they were on xx and took it to a different Ford where I was welcomed with a better mechanical resolution, no cost and better treatment . Don’t get scammed . . More
