It is unfortunate to have worked with customers for several days trying to gain credit approvals, secure rates that under normal circumstances would be impossible only to have a customer be disingenuous in giving us a fair review. The customer speaks of better deals, but when I asked them to please come in and show me "the better deal and telling them that I would in fact match it, I was told they had decided not to make a purchase. I then was able to find out they had purchased elsewhere, even though they asked us to secure the vehicle of their choice from another dealer. Although their loan was originaly turned down for difficult credit, we were able to reverse the decision, negotiate a rate of 1.9% only to be lied to about their intentions. After being found out, the customer then made claims of a better deal. The customer is upset about being caught in a lie and decided to vent their anger on this forum. As to being "hung up on" I simply wished them well and said that under the circumstances there was nothing left to discuss.
