Online prices are very misleading Do not believe the price of one of their used cars. Cars that are advertised as certified are not certified at all. They are "pre-certified", and th Do not believe the price of one of their used cars. Cars that are advertised as certified are not certified at all. They are "pre-certified", and they will make you pay another $1,500 to certify them. On top of that, they add a "weather and protection package" to every car, which cannot be opted out of, and adds another $995 to the advertised price. In my case, it was a certified Optima advertised at $17,000. Excluding taxes, fees, etc., I was already on the hook for $19,495. This is a shady way of doing business and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy a car from this dealer. They will try to swindle you. More

I purchase a brand new 2014 Kia Optima in June and before the end of the y The circle of blame is what you will get from this dealer's service center. I purchase a brand new 2014 Kia Optima in June and before the end of the year I had an issue with the rear view camera and taillights (which would reoccur every 6 months or so). The rear view camera would go out anytime I open and closed the trunk and then flicker on the screen until I brought it to be repaired. This happened three times since then and I was told by different service reps that they are "flaky" and try to "try to avoid carwashes." I completely avoid using my trunk now, in fear that there is a loose wire that the service center will not look for because it takes more time to track that down than just replace the camera. With my taillights, I've had to bring my car in 6 times (once for them to check the issue, then wait for them to order parts only for me to have to bring it back another time to be repaired, each time). The taillights are replaced each time because moisture builds up inside the lights any time it rains and burns out the LEDs. With no cracks on the taillights, they simply replace and resealed them only for the issue to return once it rains or snows. Now this being my third set of taillights, I was called by the service center to come pick up my car, but they noticed the issue in the left passenger taillight as well (something I told them about when I brought in the car and signed off on for the service papers). So now the service center tells me they need to order that part and I will be without my car another day once they have the new light to replace it. Being without a car for multiple days while the car is looked at and then repaired (for the same issue) is unacceptable for a car that is less than 3 years old. I've received more compliments on my Optima than any other car I've owned (Cadillac, Audi, Lexus) but now I go out of my way to recommend they don't buy one because of the issues with the taillights and rearview camera. If they ask where I got my car from, I highly suggest to never go to Ed Napleton's Kia of Elmhurst because of the repeated poor service I have had. More
