Please coordinate online shopping with on site shopping Although my overall experience was good, there was an issue that almost made me change my mind about our decision to lease a Genesis. My husband did all of the legwork online, and spoke via email with the general manager, Joel Thomas. He submitted all required paperwork online and had a definite quote also from the general manager. We called around noon on the day that we came in and we were given an appointment at 4pm that afternoon. However, when we arrived, NO ONE knew anything about our correspondences, even though my husband could produce the emails and the responses from your dealership, nor were they aware of the appointment we had made earlier that day. Nor, when asked, could they find the emails between my husband and Mr. Thomas. Had if not been for Mr. Consolino and his kind, professional personality, I doubt that I could have been convinced to stay. The manager on duty. Lance (can not recall last name) was unaware of any of our previous correspondences. He initially, in my opinion, was brusque and at one point, asked me just what I wanted to do, leave or get a car? I was incredulous at his attititude. FInally, when my husband produced PROOF of our previous contact, he worked to make things right. None of the terms agreed to previously were honored, nor was the estimate for my 2013 Sonata that was provided to us by your OWN web site, per the manager on duty,Lance, and he seemed to scoff at our idea that a quote given to us 4 weeks earlier would be honored on our visit date. I realize this sounds more like a tirade that a tribute, but, please know that the experience was salvaged by the way we were treated by Mr. C. Additionally, the gentleman in finance was a dream to work with also. Unfortunately, I can not remember the name the gentleman in finance. I do, however, want to let you know that I will be back and hope that my future dealings with the dealership will be on par with the professional treatment received by Mr. C. and the finance dept. The vehicle is a dream to drive and I have been very satisfied so far with it. Thank you for the opportunity for feedback. More
