Upon reviewing our records, we have noted that you have been a customer with our dealership for some time. Last year, after I had left, you started taking your car to another service provider in Wilmington. There, an oil change was performed, and subsequently, you experienced issues with your engine, including noise and smoke. Although the warranty we sold you had expired at 60,000 miles, we empathized with your situation and agreed to investigate and repair any issues if we found any during our inspection. However, our team of technicians was unable to identify any issues with your vehicle that could be attributed to our previous service. Despite this, in order to address your concerns and ensure your satisfaction, our general manager, Robbie Yates, kindly had an oil change performed at no charge. We wanted to go the extra mile to ensure your peace of mind. We regret any miscommunication or delay in resolving the issue with your vehicle during your recent visit. We understand your frustration with the delay in diagnosis and resolution. Rest assured, we continuously strive to provide timely and efficient service to all our customers. The circumstances that transpired during your visit were not reflective of our usual standards, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Regarding the disrespectful parking of your vehicle, we deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and your wife. We apologize for the oversight and any frustration it may have caused. Unfortunately, after further investigation it was determined that the BOLT for the front of your vehicle , # 6509145AA , ( 14mm X 2.00 X 189mm CASE HARDENED FRAME BOLT ) used to hold The Front Cross Member of his Vehicle , are sold as qty 2 in a Bag ( or MSQ = Multiple service Quantity, Which means we must order qty 2 .) We believe that there has been some miscommunication because it was stated that the cost of the that the cost of each bolt is $12.20, which would result in the $26.11 after tax. We offered to sell you only one bolt , even though one bolt would then have to put in stock , and would have against our policy on both Refunding non-stocking SOP Parts , and not charging you a 20% restocking fee ,plus breaking up an MSQ QTY BAG of 2, but that offer was refused and you left with the purchase of the 2 bolts. We apologize about the confusion and will work diligently to ensure this scenario does not happen again. We thank you for our business and look forward to resolving this issue amicably. I didn’t make up the conversation I had with the person who took the order. I do think that your person misquoted the wrong price, then charged my card a different amount that I was expecting. I know it’s not a ton of money but I think it’s wrong that you didn’t honor the quoted price. Making me the customer look like I was making things up. Do you record your calls for training purposes?
