A Confusing, Infuriating Nightmare My brand-new car had a leaking tire and needed to be brought in for service twice, despite the extended and extremely expensive warranty I purchased. My brand-new car had a leaking tire and needed to be brought in for service twice, despite the extended and extremely expensive warranty I purchased. You'd think that a three-month old car wouldn't need any service, let alone require two trips to the service department in several days. The second time I went there, I found out that my first visit wasn't even documented, so they didn't know why I was there or what I was talking about. I've worked in service before and wouldn't let a customer leave twice with an issue, let alone an issue that could result in a dangerous situation. It pains me to say that I'm deeply concerned about my experience with Honda and am considering returning the car in its entirety under the lemon law, which would be a real shame to do over a small thing like a tire. Just to make it clear, my sales experience was great. They worked through my purchase slowly, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Couldn't recommend it enough. I don't know what happened with service. More
