When you were contemplating trading in your Durango with 191,000 miles, we offered a fair value based on its condition. However, you ultimately decided to retain the vehicle. Subsequently, a few weeks later, you brought it into the service drive, where a motor replacement was deemed necessary. Upon inquiring about the possibility of a trade-in, you were understandably disheartened when the trade value was adjusted due to the substantial repairs required. It's essential to acknowledge that the trade value cannot remain unaffected after significant events, such as an engine replacement, impact a vehicle. We strive to be transparent in our transactions and ensure fairness to all parties involved.
