Service Center I've just bought a new Corolla and came to have a new key fob configured. I pulled into the service garage. No one acknowledged me. . . Another serv I've just bought a new Corolla and came to have a new key fob configured. I pulled into the service garage. No one acknowledged me. . . Another service man walked past me and inspected a rear door of an SUV. I wondered if I was in the right place- large, empty boxes were stacked between my car and the other garage lane. I walked into the service office. There was a lot of confusion - some computer people were discussing how to pull some cable in a ceiling. None of the service people acknowledged that I was there. Finally, a service counter person finished taking care of a customer. I told him why I was there and asked if this chaos was normal. He told me it usually wasn't like this. I questioned if I should have parked my car in the garage or should I park in the lot in the future? He told me to park in the garage. He told me to go to the waiting room and they would tell me when they were done. I asked him what direction the waiting room was - I didn't see any signs? He pointed the direction. An hour later, a service rep called my name. The service rep charged me $74.00+ The parts desk guy told me it should be about $68.00 the week before so I questioned the amount. He charged me tax on labor. The desk guy handed me a coupon for a free car wash. Mungenast Toyota always washed and vacuumed out our car. The desk guy said they used to wash cars. Now they hand out coupons. He told me the car wash address is on the coupon and gave me some vague directions. Thank goodness I had a gps with me because I am not familiar with Fairview Heights - I live in Godfrey, IL. Found the car wash. It was actually good. Vacuums were available for me to use. At Mungenast Toyota, they cleaned my car and vacuumed it and put it in the garage pointed toward the exit. Mungenast always has someone greet customers. They confirm what the car is in for. They have signs and a logical flow leading to a waiting room. After service, they call my name, take me to a service desk and explain any service issues that may be a problem in the future. They walk me to the cashier. They thank me for coming in for service and say goodbye. I leave. My first impression of the service department is it must be run by Sam Walton. The service rep who waited on me didn't introduce himself and he didn't have a name badge. I don't believe anyone else had name badges either. Maybe I'm in error? At Mungenast Toyota, Mike Young is my service advisor. There is another young man, Doug, has taken care of me. I get the impression that the service department staff at Newbold don't want to develop a relationship or acknowledge customers. It's the difference of being a stranger or being a guest. . . More

I was scolded When I brought my vehicle in for the tire rotation and oil change Jake scolded me for missing the service. Everyone has busy lives and we all work so When I brought my vehicle in for the tire rotation and oil change Jake scolded me for missing the service. Everyone has busy lives and we all work so getting it in exactly at the correct miles is not always going to happen. I felt like a child in school. This was very upsetting. More

Great experience I have always been skeptical of car dealerships until I went to Newbold Toyota. I bought a 2012 Camry and could not be happier.
