So I went to the dealership merely to see a vehicle that my girlfriend saw on their website. They had sent her a flyer about her 2006 Nissan Altima. When we arrived, there was only one gentleman in the Used Car building. Jason Harkleroad introduced himself and made himself readily available. We described the vehicle we had seen online, and he looked it up. It had just finished through the "cleaning" process. Jason offered to let us test drive it. He pulled it up out front opened all of the doors. Showed us a lot of the features. We bargained on a trade in price. I told them I don't buy a car the same day I shop for one. I told Jason to call us the next day. When Jason called me, I had bad news for him. I let him know that we decided that we didn't need that vehicle right now, and that I needed a new one for me before we got a new one for my girlfriend. He said he understood, and I told him to call me in 6-9 months and certainly to let me know anytime he got something similar on the lot. Jason and I thought that was the end of it. After another day passed, and on the second day from the phone call saying we were not going to move forward with it, I called Jason. I asked him some questions about the vehicle, and the process were I to borrow the money through them. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions satisfactorily and they all turned out to be accurate. My girlfriend Ashley and I purchased the 2005 Infinity QX56. We are very happy with our decision even though it ended up involving some debt. The service extends from here... so when I arrived at the dealership that afternoon to purchase the vehicle I wanted to take it for a test drive first. The battery needed to be jumped. Jason and I thought nothing of it as someone could have left something on and drained it. Fast forward to the next day after we purchased the vehicle. We were running a couple of minutes behind getting our daughter to school, and wouldn't you know it, the battery was dead again. Luckily there was still one neighbor that was home and able to jump off a big vehicle like this. After dropping her off at school I went straight to the dealership (I needed to give them the title to my car anyways), I spoke briefly with Mike Castro about the issue. He assured me (while leading me to Rob King) that he would get someone one it, and be ready for me or my girlfriend when we were able to return. Ashley brought the vehicle back and it turned out that the battery was bad. It simply wasn't holding a charge. They replaced it free of charge. It did seem like a long time to replace a battery as Ashley and our youngest were sitting there for little over an hour, but ultimately we're happy to have a great running vehicle. As a side note as to why this was even more significant is that as a used vehicle it was sold "As Is". I signed paperwork as such. They could have left me hangin' high and dry. They chose the high road and offered customer service. This was greatly appreciated and certainly refreshing. Jason was very enjoyable to spend time with as we were going through the whole process. He was full of stories, able to relate and listen. Incredibly knowledgeable about a wide range of topics we covered in those few hours. He's humble and honest. Qualities not often seen these days.
