most positive new car buying experience ever (and I am 48) Last week one of my four oldest cars died (1998, 1999, 2000), and I needed reliable fuel efficient transportation to replace it for me AND the other 3 Last week one of my four oldest cars died (1998, 1999, 2000), and I needed reliable fuel efficient transportation to replace it for me AND the other 3 adult children in my family to pass around. I began searching google for the cheapest reliable small car reviews. My research led me to three cars in my price range, but the Nissan Versa grabbed my attention because of it's price point for a car made by a major Japanese manufacture. I compared it to a Kia Soul and decided to test drive a Versa with CVT and cruise control, Vs. a Kia Soul base with 6 speed manual (no CC). Google led me to Elk Grove Nissan and Elk Grove Kia. Subsequent interest emails yielded sales responses, and I spoke with Kia and Nissan internet sales staff. I met with Elisa first, who quoted me a price that approximately $13,028 on the car she hosted me in for a test drive. Elisa was professional, positive, and honest with the comparison to the Kia Soul I was also interested in. I enjoyed my test drive, and was later surprised that Elisa discovered the price was actually $12,995 (I think). It's not much, but I appreciate her efforts to save me money. I drove the Kia Soul at EG Kia, and did NOT like the lack of power, lack of cc, and they were asking over $15,000 for it. The next day, which was also the last day of the end of 2016 sales, Elisa was very patient texting and calling back and forth answering all my questions, estimating other versions of the Versa for me. During this time I decided if I was gonna buy a new car I want all the amenities I can, so Elisa found a Versa SV Special Edition that was perfect, even down to the color I liked from our test drive. Elisa was able to discount the car approximately $2000 off MSRP and get me a great interest rate... so I decided after reviewing the options packages from the window sticker she text me that this would be an ideal replacement for my old clunker car. It was a dark and stormy night at the dealership, and it was busy because of the sale and there were many customers wrapping up the day. I never noticed because the haggle free, friendly atmosphere of Elk Grove Nissan made the evening pleasant and stress free. They even escorted me home so I didn't have to make two trips to retrieve my old clunker car (I decided I am going to give it to a friend). Thanks Elisa and Roberto for making this a great introduction to Nissan products, and the best new car buying experience I have ever enjoyed!
