I contacted Rustom Nissan by phone looking for Nissan Altima and Mookie responded. and ready to provide inventory on hand, features, incentives and pricing. The exact car I wanted was available including options. Mookie and I negotiated over three days over the phone and in person twice. He was pleasant throughout the process and exceeded my expectations. Some of the positives - honest, patient, friendly, attentive. Mookie stayed with me when I came to the dealership and made sure everything went smoothly. He had the car detailed and filled with gas...it looked fantastic! He walked me through all the options of the Hybrid. He even followed up with a card by mail the same week thanking me for the business. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I've had. I was not even really looking for a new vehicle, I was happy with my little Cobalt but my son and I typed in wrangler into a search on Craigslist without naming a pricerange. I called the dealer that I have never before heard of and found out that they've been located there for many years and that they still had the vehicle. I drove down there with limited time, still not expecting them to be able to fit me into a pricerange that I needed. I drove the vehicle and it had one little problem that I wasn't too concerned with so we began talking numbers and it soon became apparent that they were going to be able to work a deal that fit my budget. I was ecstatic, I was finally going to get the vehicle of my dreams. I only wish that they had been upfront about the gap insurance, that was thrown in at the last minute by finance. I definitely recommend Rustom Nissan to anyone looking for a car new or used, these are good people. In my case they fit my needs... errr, wants! :-) More

When I needed a new car June of 2010, I did a lot of research on the Internet before I found Rustom Nissan of Portland. I spent time looking at dealers in seven different Western states, including Alaska, and found that Rustom Nissan had the most knowledgeable staff, the best prices, and the best customer relations. To begin with, my contact was over the Internet where Chris Harshman, who sent me some car details and prices. Then I made contact over the phone where we chatted about exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. After that, without committing, I showed up at the dealer’s location in Portland with confidence that they had what I wanted and would give it to me at a price I was more than willing to pay! Randy Goodin, a salesman at Rustom, took awesome care of me while I test drove cars and dickered my price! I LOVE MY MURANO!!! I was able to buy a new car and get it home for thousands of dollars less than what I could buy it for here in Anchorage!! Plus, Oregon doesn’t have sales tax either. So I didn’t even have to mess with that! I love my car so much that when my mom who lives in Soldotna, Alaska needed a new car I just called up Randy and Chris and told them what she wanted, they gave me a price. I looked it up on the Internet and couldn't find anything even close to as good of a price as they gave us... My mom bought the car, flew down, Chris picked her up at the airport, and home she came! Even with plane tickets, hotels and food while in Portland, and getting the car home, she paid thousands of dollars less than she would have if she had of bought it here in Anchorage! The guys there were so helpful that I bet they would have been willing to put it on a barge or ferry for us if we’d of wanted them to! I know for a fact that when it’s time for me to buy another car, or when someone I know needs a car . . . I will call Chris and Randy again!!! More

The people at Rustom Nissan are wonderful. I work in customer service and I can tell you that they are genuinely nice and courteous. There is no dealer markup, and we were the first to buy the 2011 Niss customer service and I can tell you that they are genuinely nice and courteous. There is no dealer markup, and we were the first to buy the 2011 Nissan Juke, so the price wasn't the greatest deal, but they did what they could. I will probably go back when we replace our other car. More
