I took my car in on 10/12/20 because it was making 2 noises at random times from the passenger side. Since Ford couldn’t replicate the noise they told me that it had to be my AC and the hybrid. Fine, I noises at random times from the passenger side. Since Ford couldn’t replicate the noise they told me that it had to be my AC and the hybrid. Fine, I told them that I would be back. I took my car back to Ford yesterday and test drove it with one of their techs. During the test drive he heard the ticking noise and I played him the video of the second noise (metal to metal) and he stated he heard it however during the test drive it couldn’t be replicated. The service advisor, Rafael, then comes to me and says “I am 99.9% sure that it’s your hybrid making the noise which is normal” I told him that I was going on almost 2 years with this car and this was a new noise and his response was “maybe you never noticed it before”. Again, I’m not an idiot and that answer is from someone who doesn’t want to look at my car. No one knows their car like the owner so if I go to you and tell you there’s something wrong with my car then give me a better answer than a pathetic assumption from someone who obviously doesn’t care about his customers. At the end of the day he gets paid to be there and service my car, it isn’t for free. Of course since Ford couldn’t replicate the noise I was told that my car was in perfect condition and again that the only noises occurring were from the hybrid and AC. I understand that Ford can’t do much if something can’t be replicated but do not try to make me seem like I am making up something or am an idiot. If you can’t help them send me to someone who can. Customer service is very important and telling someone “maybe you never noticed a noise before” come on that is a ridiculous answer. I will be taking my car elsewhere and when my lease is up I will be strongly considering another car manufacturer. I never had issues with my Toyota and it was a HUGE mistake going with Ford. Lesson learned. More
