I just moved to the Minneapolis area from Florida and was looking for a dealership that I could count on to provide good, quality service on my 2003 F150 Supercrew. I conducted an online review of the 4 dea looking for a dealership that I could count on to provide good, quality service on my 2003 F150 Supercrew. I conducted an online review of the 4 dealerships that were the closest to me and looked through previous customer comments. The comments made regarding North County Ford were by far the most positive reviews I saw online. As such, I went to their web site and sent them an email inquiring about their service hours, vehicle drop off, and shuttle services. Within minutes I received a call from one of their service advisors welcoming to the area and asking if I'd like to make an appointment which I did for the very next day. I arrived at the dealership at 7:30 a.m. as scheduled and the service advisor Kelly was there waiting on me and immediately got me checked in, listened to what I wanted done, and made arrangements for the shuttle driver Jim to drop me off at work. A few hours later I received a call from Kelly informing me that the service I requested (oil change and new fuel filter) had been completed. I stopped by over my lunch break and the vehicle had been washed and was ready for me to pick it up. I then described an intermittent issue I had noticed with the truck unrelated to the service that was just completed and Kelly arranged for one of the mechanics to do a ride along with me so I could demonstrate the issue I was having trouble describing. The mechanic, (don't remember his name but was a young man and a veteran) was very polite and professional and listened to what I was telling him, asked questions to make sure he understood the issue, and then made recommendations regarding what needed to be done to fix the issue. As such, I chose the dealership based on the positive reviews I read, but will now return to this dealership due to the professional, timely, friendly, and thorough service I received today. More
I was recently forced off the road and narrowly avoided an accident. I hit a vertical curb straight on with my left front tire. The Service Writer Dave Christopher got my car in right away, and had it ch an accident. I hit a vertical curb straight on with my left front tire. The Service Writer Dave Christopher got my car in right away, and had it checked out. Dave called me a few hours later and reported what they found, and asked how I wanted to proceed. Luckily there was no real damage, but I decided to have it aligned at 53000 miles. They also found and repaired an annoying rattle which turned out to be my sway bar end links, and fixed two burned out bulbs at my request. The total bill (off warranty by the way,) was $326.00 My car was ready at the time promised, and drives as good as new again. I was not pressured with any "extra" service offers, and felt like my interests were foremost in their minds. Would I recommend North Country Ford to anyone looking for a Ford product? Yes I would. I recently moved out to Minnesota from Oregon so had to rely on the reviews of others using this forum to find a Ford dealership I could reasonably trust. Having a lot of employment experience in customer rely on the reviews of others using this forum to find a Ford dealership I could reasonably trust. Having a lot of employment experience in customer service this is one area I am usually the most critical of. When I go into a place of business I look to see if the associates have a sense of urgency (showing they value my time); are they knowledgeable about my needs (at the very least, do they seem happy to research, or pair me with someone who is); do they acknowledge their appreciation of my business (knowing I could just as easily have gone with one of their many competitors); did they meet my need in a timely and accurate fashion, doing it right the first time; and overall, did they meet my expectation or did they WOW me. I must say, the Service Department of North Country Ford in Coon Rapids met my expectations in all areas. I pulled up to one of the bay doors and was greeted by a young man before I could close the door of my car. The "on stage" area (visible to customers) was very well organized and clean. When it was my turn to check in at the counter the woman was very friendly in receiving me. (I was impressed that I was asked for permission before they washed my car. I know some people prefer to opt out of this service.) Kelly Casper was "the face" of the department for me, relaying information from the mechanic to me, offering to bring out a part for me to look at so I could make an informed decision, graciously answering all my questions. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time and as expected. Appreciation was definitely expressed at the end of my visit, and I felt they were genuine in asking for my continued patronage. In keeping with my tendency to critique customer service based on what's important to me, the only recommendation I would make is that when people are waiting in line, even though the associate may be with a customer at that time, look up, make eye contact, and with a smile in your voice simply acknowledge them with, "We'll be with you shortly." This resets the internal clock for those waiting, making it feel as if they didn't have to wait all that long. The Service Department of North Country Ford has secured my future business as well as my recommendation. More

My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle and had our eye on a 2013 Escape. We were very concerned about financing and getting a good interest rate. Not only were the employees easy to get along wi our eye on a 2013 Escape. We were very concerned about financing and getting a good interest rate. Not only were the employees easy to get along with and very accommodating, financing was awesome!!! Ken Kincaid is a great salesman that was not pushy at all. He was very pleasant, answered all of our questions, and then some! Tom Reil helped us get great financing within our budget. We then set up our first oil change and had great service from start to finish. I love the communication via email. I also really like all the emails I get regarding the Escape and all the items it has - even video's for those of us that don't understand "car jargon"! THANKS FORD!!! More

We had purchased a 2013 Passat from Luther VW in Burnsville. After driving our VW for 7 months we found that the seats were horribly uncomfortable. Otherwise, we loved the car and excellent mileag Burnsville. After driving our VW for 7 months we found that the seats were horribly uncomfortable. Otherwise, we loved the car and excellent mileage we got. We decided we needed to trade because we wanted to do some traveling and realized we couldn't keep this car long-term. After doing extensive research on vehicles, not wanting to make the same mistake twice, we decided that we wanted to buy a Ford Taurus. My husband called several dealerships, requesting "ballpark" quotes. Not one of them made us feel it would be worth the time or the effort to even come in to try to make a deal. My husband called North Country Ford and was connected to Jeff Jones. From the very beginning, Jeff made it worthwhile to come in and talk to him. (We live 2 hours away from Coon Rapids) We met with Jeff and he explained the pricing and also informed us of all the incentives that were available at that time. We were able to come to an agreement on the price of the trade and ordered a new Taurus. Jeff ordered exactly what we wanted and called us when it came in. About the time we were supposed to come an pick up our new car, my husband was hospitalized. I called Jeff and he said he would be more than happy to deliver the car to us! I was so relieved and happy that he would do that. It took such a burden off my mind with being so worried about my husband. Jeff delivered our beautiful car to our door. My husband was out of the hospital by that time and Jeff spent about 3 hours going over every detail of the car with us. He also explained all of the paperwork to us and did an excellent job! I was amazed at his knowledge of both the vehicle and financial portion of this transaction. I deeply appreciate all of Jeff''s concern for my husband during this difficult time. He truly provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond! Wendy H. More
