I had a bad experience prior to this visit where I unecessarily had to wait a long time for my service but this visit definitely made up for it. Tim helped me get in touch with Luther Auto Glass to get my window chip fixed right away. They were awesome as well with dealing with my insurance. I had someone pick me up since it was going to be awhile and when I came back Tim greeted me by name and said he can bring the car around. It was right on time and felt that Tim really knew what was going on with my car. After a poor experience the last time I was there, this reaffirmed that North Country was a great place to keep coming to even now that I am out of warranty. I bought my last 2 cars here and my in-laws have been coming here for decades. They will take care of what you need and most people there are respectful of your time and cost that things are. More
What a great service shop! AS soon as I got out of my car a representative met me, knew my name, and immediately initiated the service work. I was completely satisfied with this service visit. My auto start feature I added on to my 2010 F150 Crew Cab was working inconsistently making fixing the problem difficult. The people at North country get my vehicles in as promised. They do the work in a timely fashion, and are always helpful. The waiting area is very comfortable. I went in with no appointment for service on my 2008 Mustang GT Premium Convertible ( 19,600 Miles ). My tire tread is down to 5/32 in so Dan Hunt made sure to advise me of that and also took the time to print up a list of available tires that were appropriate for my Mustang so I could determine what I wanted to do at my leisure without any pressure on his part. I'm a stickler about high pressure sales tactics and I like the fact that you DO NOT have to deal with that at North Country. On my last service appointment at North Country I did not mention to them that I had a bulb burned out in the left taillight, and I didn't expect them to find it, much less take the time to replace it, but, much to my surprise, when I got the car back, the bulb had been replaced and I did not have to mess with it myself. These are the kind of experiences that will keep me coming back to North Country Ford for years to come. You can bet when it's time for a new vehicle, I'll be coming back here to make the purchase. I purchased a truck last week online from North Country Ford. Ken Kincade did an outstanding job every step of the way. I can tell you Ken's service was in stark contrast to other responses I received to a number of inquires. It truly is puzzling. Considering the current economic conditions, you would think sales people would be climbing over each other to help. I spoke with one salesperson in particular on the last day of the month and quarter (9/30/2010) from central Iowa. We could not agree on pricing. I received a voice mail from the general manager exposing the dealerships commitment to customer service. I returned his call, stated the salesman’s performance was excellent, however we could not agree on a price. I never heard from the general manager. To add “insult-to-injury” the general manager sent me an e-mail with their latest truck sales event the following week. Another salesman in Wisconsin sent me an e-mail response to my inquiry, I called him on Monday, we spoke about the truck, and he was going to confirm that the truck had not been sold on Saturday. I never heard from him again! The good news is that there are still great people out there “checking their bucket” glad to be employed and making a living and willing to do whatever it takes in a positive and productive way. I bought a truck from a gentleman from North Country's Coon Rapids, Minnesota dealership(North of the Twin Cities). I bought the truck on Tuesday night. Ken Kincade delivered it to a sister dealership in Mankato (Mankato Honda), Minnesota on Thursday. I caught a ride with a lady from my office headed to Mankato for the weekend and we had a very pleasant drive to pick up my new truck. I arrived late for my appointment because of traffic, but still got right in and the 5000 mile maintenance was performed quickly. The employees that I interacted with were all very friendly. Without the rebate the price seems a bit high. We'll see if I get it. Still a hassle though to file the paperwork and then cash the check. I'd rather just have a lower price up front. More
