North Penn Mazda responded

Usbports, As shown in the video sent to you by the technician, the USB ports were physically damaged by outside influence. The ports had bent pins and one of them was pushed in and broken away from the trim around it. Unfortunately defects from outside influence are not covered by warranty. Had the issue been a manufacture defect in which they weren't working but were in good condition, the repair would have been performed under warranty for you.
