After purchasing two prior vehicles from Northisde Ford with very positive experiences, I visited the dealership today with intent to purchase a third. What followed was one of the most demeaning experien with very positive experiences, I visited the dealership today with intent to purchase a third. What followed was one of the most demeaning experiences I have ever had. The initial sales person and I selected and drove a vehicle from the lot. We began to work on numbers. I understand that buying a car can be an emotional process, but I feel strongly that it need not be disrespectful. We had a great conversation and even though the numbers were not yet reasonable to me, he was respectful and we continued to work on the deal. I was confident that we were going to find compromise. At one point, he returned with another gentlemen who went on to bully me beyond my belief. Instead of recognizing the blue book value of my trade in, he lectured me on the overhead the company has with their service and used car departments that must be factored into the blue book figure. He began spitting numbers, flipping papers, and waving his arms as if we were playing 3 card monte. At one point, he asked me how I arrived at the price that I thought was fair, I asked if I could write it out. He held the pen by his chest and said, "did you bring a pen?" I asked the initial salesman if he would please return to me my DL and keys. He left the area. The other salesman continued to talk. I pointed out that he did not seem to want to have a conversation and he relinquished the pen. I wrote out what I thought was a fair price less the rebate and trade value of my vehicle. Very sarcastically, he drew a smiley face on the paper, said have a nice day, and walked away. Ordinarily I would move on, but I have invested tens of thousands of dollars with this dealership over the past 10 years, and I feel totally betrayed for my loyalty to them. This is not the Northside Ford leadership I worked with when I bought my last two trucks and scored them very highly on the subsequent service reviews. To say the least, I am disappointed. More
My internet salesman was William Franklin and he provided outstanding service. He was not pushy and his calm demeanor guided me through the selection and purchasing process without a hitch. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy from a dealership without all the usual hassles and baggage that goes along with it. When I visited the dealership I was fairly sure of what I wanted, and I was ready to buy. Tim and the management staff spent nearly a complete day ensuring that I was matched up with the perfect vehicle at the right price. Once the deal was sealed their finance rep got all the dreaded paperwork ready quickly, and reviewed it in depth with me. The next day my new F150 was cleaned, prepped, and ready to go. I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure, and never felt any of the pressure that's so common with many dealers. I strongly recommend Northside Ford, and I'm certain to be a repeat customer myself. More

Nice vehicle buying experience. My daughter and I were treated very nice by our salesperson, Ron Sutton, during our first visit to this dealership. Ron was awesome, my loan officer had contacted Ron to see if they the type vehicle I was looking for and Ron confirmed that there was one vehicle available with my specifications. Prior to my arrival Ron called me to ensure I was on my way and to inform me that my vehicle was located outside the door of his office. Ron took me to my vehicle we sat inside he explained the navigation system and all the other features on this model. He insisted that I take it for a test drive (that is what sealed the deal for me)I had to have this vehicle... I was at the dealership about 3 hours and then I went home with my new 2012 Ford F-150 Raptor. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and courteous, Ron's Manager David Starnes made sure I was completely satisfied. It was a great experience, especially since I was not really prepared to buy a vehicle that day (it was my first day home for the holidays). I live out of state and was only going to be in town for 4 days, this vehicle was fully loaded and the only thing that was on my list that was not on this vehicle was the bedliner and Ron is working with a local dealer in my area to accommodate that. I cannot say enough about my experience, just completely awesome. Ron calls or emails me almost everyday, keeping informed on the status of the bedliner and to let me know that my tags are on the way. Thanks Ron Sutton for all you do for me. You are the best... Wow!!! What a great experience. I have dealt with car salesmen before, and this was not a sales job. This was listening to what I wanted and taking me right to that truck. I literally had looked at used salesmen before, and this was not a sales job. This was listening to what I wanted and taking me right to that truck. I literally had looked at used trucks all day,at other dealerships, and just wanted to see if I could get in the ballpark on a new truck. I came in to look and drove away with a beautiful truck. The experience was so good that they actually found an additional rebate, after we had agreed to the sales price, and honored it. I can tell you that these guys are honest and a pleasure to deal with. Even received personal one on one training before I drove off the lot. Great experience, great people, and a great dealership.
