We returned 3 days later and Tony spent over an hour going over any questions we had regarding "new tech" and programed our phone for us We had a very friendly and efficient experience through the business papers to taking the car home. This we appreciate as we know just how long the experience of buying a car can be if backup in any department occurs. Everything is great and we love our new car. As soon as we walked in we saw a black Silverado and upon meeting and telling Scott Henthron what we wanted, he said, "I believe you just walked by the truck you are describing!" He was right. Scott did show us one other truck but the Silverado is what we wanted. Scott made the buying process easy and we were out of there in our new truck quickly. No pressure just very helpful. Explained all the features and went the extra mile. More

Bought a used Porsche Boxster S Worked with Chip and John in looking for a fun/sporty used car. Spent approximately 20 minutes with Chip on first visit. After we found a car that matched my criteria, expectations were not met on the finance (cost) of the vehicle as we had to 'negotiate' when we were assured we would not. John also accidentally gave me a copy of the internal OC Welch document showing their profit on the sale. It did not align with the "deal" that John stated I received. One issue with used car....when I left the OC Welch lot.....the Porsche emblem fell off the car. I called John and he said he would handle. John did a decent job ordering the replacement part. When I returned to the dealership to have the repair done I was told (twice) by John the day he instructed me to bring the car back that the emblem was in Service Department. When I arrived at Service...they told me the part was not there and they would need to drive somewhere to pick it up. What I was expecting to be a 30 minute to 1 hour process took 3 hours. Overall....not a GREAT dealership....but not BAD either. They earned their 3-star (Average) rating. More
Brake Service While travelling from Canada to Florida in our 2007 Ford Explorer we experienced a left front wheel lock up at highway speed on I95. We were able to roll slowly to an off ramp and found a motel nearby as it was late in the afternoon. We called O. C. Welch and talked to Bernard Jean in the service department about getting repairs done. He recommended a towing company who I called and they picked up the vehicle that evening and delivered it to the dealer who was 30 miles south. On Frioday they diagnosed the problem as a front wheel bearing failure and an overheated brake assembly. However all the parts required were not available locally. Bernard explained the parts would not arrive until Monday morning. Early Monday afternoon Bernard called and said our vehicle was ready to go and he was sending a driver to pick us up. Doing what others simply couldn't. As a UK citizen here working for an extensive period of time on a work visa, I found it hard to get any sort of lease deal approved at other dealershi As a UK citizen here working for an extensive period of time on a work visa, I found it hard to get any sort of lease deal approved at other dealerships because of our new credit score in the US. At O.C our salesman, Scott Henthorn and Gerald in the finance department, helped us achieve what others couldn't and scored us a brilliant deal on a new car. Communication was excellent throughout and they were determined to help us get a car we could afford and enjoy. Scott's manner was so refreshing after a long couple of weeks searching for cars in other dealerships. He was relaxed, reassuring and best of all not pushy. The guys simply did what others couldn't for us and we couldn't be happier with our new car! Thank you again for your time and patience with us through this process. More
The purchase of a new Explorer. I have purchased several Ford Fleet vehicles from Brent Walker over the years for my employer as a Fleet Manager. When I looked into purchasing a new I have purchased several Ford Fleet vehicles from Brent Walker over the years for my employer as a Fleet Manager. When I looked into purchasing a new Explorer for myself years later, I found out that Brent was now selling for O.C. Welch. (He had owned his own dealership in, Glennville, GA) So I called the dealership and the young lady transfer me to Brent. We set up an appointment and he came to my house to appraise my vehicle that I was trading in. I told him what I was looking for and he found it. Through several phone calls, we went over prices, rebates and trade in values and finally came to an agreement. The owner, O.C. Welch was very much involved... taking me into his office and completing a lot of the paperwork and financing. I've never had an owner of a dealer do this, except for Brent. O.C. gave me a set of all weather Explorer floor mats along with the carpeted ones that came with the vehicle and a nice jacket after the deal was complete. I appreciate the good deal I got, but even more... the personal service. Teresa Semmler wrapped the deal up in a very timely manner and has been in contact with me since. I had a great experience with the purchase of my new vehicle. More
