I was recommended to Oak Lawn Toyota by a friend who had recently purchased her Camry from Scott Hill. I visited the dealership on a Wednesday evening to check out a used Ford Focus I had seen on the websi recently purchased her Camry from Scott Hill. I visited the dealership on a Wednesday evening to check out a used Ford Focus I had seen on the website. Jacob, one of the internet consultants, called me back within an hour after submitting an online inquiry and I was able to set up an appointment to test drive that night. I was greeted graciously when I walked in and immediately met Scott to test-drive the car. He was awesome! He was just as my friend said, kind and easy-going, yet knowledgeable without being pushy or pressuring. Scott spent quite a bit of time with me to go over inventory that fit my needs. I wasn't planning on buying so quickly, but I went back the next night to buy the Focus. The best part was I walked away feeling that I was treated fairly and with respect. I highly recommend these guys! They are so great and you can tell they really love what they do; it shows in their attitude and treatment of their customers. I can't say enough good things about them from Jacob, the internet consultant, to Dave, the finance guy, to the managers I spoke with, and even the short conversation I had with a person from the service department. Rob Halderson was wonderful to work with. He was so patient with us, being first time buyers, and with our kids (5 and 7). We were able to ask as many questions and take all the time we needed to make patient with us, being first time buyers, and with our kids (5 and 7). We had been to at lease five other dealerships that day and no one could offer what we were looking for...a Toyota, used, with less than 100,000 miles and for the amount we were willing to spend without financing. Actually, most dealers snickered and told us we wouldn't find that, but not Rob. He originally turned us toward one car and then checked again and it just so happened there was something better. He didn't snicker or flinch once at our request and he was able to deliver. Everyone in the dealership was friendly and patient. It is definitely a family-friendly atmosphere. As Rob said, the relationship with him and the dealership starts when we purchase the car, not ends. I plan on servicing my car there and when the time comes purchasing my next car from there as well. Thank you! More
