The service I received at Ocean Cadillac was excellent but the condition of the car was not. I drove three hours to take delivery of my XT6, which my salesperson knew. I repeatedly asked if the car is per but the condition of the car was not. I drove three hours to take delivery of my XT6, which my salesperson knew. I repeatedly asked if the car is perfect. I was assured it was. It was not. There was a prominent brake issue when I test drove the car. The service crew was leaving for the day so it was not able to be fixed. Had the car been driven pre-delivery, it would’ve been discovered as we all heard and felt it on our drive as soon as I hit the brake pedal…including our salesperson. Also, the rear bumper of this black car was scratched and dinged, very obviously. I asked for a walk around video and pics prior to my trip down. I pointed out what I saw and was assured I saw nothing…maybe a shadow. That was not the case. Things I realized after I got back home, as I took the car anyways due to my need, the rear seatbelt does not work at all, and when the car is put in reverse, the radio station changes every time. I feel like these are things that could have been avoided had the car been properly checked prior to me taking it. It’s a Cadillac. That said, Mike Kelley was very proactive about trying to get to the root of the issue and offer some form of compensation to improve my deal for my disappointment and inconvenience. However, I still need to have all of these items repaired. Once the car feels like a new car to me, I’m sure I will love it as I have my previous 12 Cadillacs. I would still recommend Ocean Cadillac and would buy from them again based on their sales and management personnel alone. More
