I purchased a 2022 VW Atlas on 10/27/21. My salesman, Jordan did an outstanding job (kudos to him), but unfortunately my experience with Matt Miller, the finance manager led to a very unsettling experien Jordan did an outstanding job (kudos to him), but unfortunately my experience with Matt Miller, the finance manager led to a very unsettling experience. During the financial discussion in closing the deal on 10/27, Matt was anything but transparent about the cost of their extended warranty and how it affected my monthly payment. From the start of our conversation, I shared with Matt that my focus, as far as financing was on the interest rate and the monthly payment. When Matt first prompted the discussion about the extended warranty, he said it would only be an additional $30 per month on the 72 month agreement at a 1.99% interest rate. I told him that I was not willing to add that much monthly. By the end of the financial conversation, he said he could do it for me for only $15 more per month and that his boss might be upset with him - making it $581 per month for 72 months at 1.99% interest rate. Unfortunately, I agreed, due to it sounding like a better deal. Matt only ever showed me his hand written quotes for my monthly payment, never the computer generated quotes like other lenders do. Which I unfortunately trusted and didn’t notice until after the fact. When I went home, I went over the numbers again and realized that there was no way that a $4000 extended warranty could cost only $15/mo, nor did he disclose that I would be paying interest on it. I immediately gave matt the benefit of the doubt that he must’ve miscalculated or made a mistake on the 4000 value. Because if he didn’t, that would mean, he intentionally inflated the actual monthly payment cost that I would’ve gotten had he not been trying to sell the extended warranty. Specifically, my monthly payment would’ve been $521 without the warranty, meaning the actual cost of the warranty was $60 per month tacked on to my monthly payment. Unfortunately, due to it being a late transaction, I didn’t catch this until after the documents were signed. The next day, I contacted Jordan (salesman) to communicate my concerns, he said that Matt was out of the office and would not be back until Friday/ Saturday. He assured me that it could wait due to them holding the paperwork for the military form that I needed to turn in for the discount. I agreed and told Jordan that my request was to have the warranty removed and for me to resign my paperwork due to the error/ lack of transparency. He said I would go over it with Matt. When I arrived on Saturday, I asked to speak with Matt. I explained the full situation, that there was either an error or a lack transparency. He was very disconnected and did not deny any of what I said. The only thing he kept saying was that, “the paperwork has already been sent off and the only thing you can do at this point is cancel the extended warranty.” He never apologized, nor did he show any kind of care. It was at that moment, I realized it was definitely intentional. I asked to speak with the manager and soon after Mario Fails came to discuss the situation. I restated everything and unfortunately, he confirmed that the paperwork had already been sent off. He was kind and apologetic, but unfortunately offered no resolution. I signed the cancellation form for the extended warranty at that time. This situation has left me very unsettled due to the dishonest nature of the financial deal made with Matt on behalf of VW OKC. I am concerned that this has occurred with other customers. I unfortunately will have to continue paying the monthly payment of $581, even with the $4000 being returned after the extended warranty cancellation goes through. I was not provided a resolution to their dishonesty, nor was quality customer service provided after spending so much with their organization on a new vehicle. I emailed the GM, Daniel Albert to hopefully prevent future customers from experiencing this wrongdoing, but was met with no reply. When I sent a follow up email two weeks later, stating I was going to escalate further, he immediately replied saying my email went to spam and his resolution in “talking to Matt Miller” is just not enough. Unfortunately, six weeks post purchase, additional concerns arise with again no response from Daniel Albert, GM, until after two emails and multiple calls occurred. First, the Oklahoma application that was mailed to my home for me to take to the tag agency for my title included the paperwork/personal information of another customer. I can only assume that not only was his information shared, but mine was swapped with his. This breach of privacy is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. Secondly, I called Zurich regarding the car warranty cancelation form that was sent on 10/30/21 to them from the OKC VW dealership, the Zurich representative informed me that since it was sent so soon after (10/27 to 10/30), the application was cancelled by the dealership prior to an account ever being created with them. He also shared that payment was never received for the warranty from the dealership. I checked with CULS credit union, who my car loan is with and they still have not received the $4,000 refund payment from the dealership for the cancelled car warranty. This essentially means that the dealership has been in possession of my money since the error occurred, I am unsure why 6 weeks later this has not been processed nor why it could not have been cancelled on 10/30 as previously requested. As I think anyone would feel after what should be an exciting time with having a brand new vehicle, I cannot quite imagine why there have been so many challenges and so little resolution. But at this point, it is apparent that OKC VW has either hired the wrong people to represent their company or they truly do not value paying customers. Very disappointing. More

Ice seen him be so professional and friendly to his other customers AND co with Brian for years now. He makes me feel like a very Important customer. Ice seen him be so professional and friendly to his other customers AND coworkers everytime I'm in. He is an asset to your company. I've never worked with the other two, just a few chats but they are definitely the same. You are very lucky as a company to employ all 3 of them. There are endless crappy employees everywhere and it's very unique to have 3 good ones...especially Brian whom I consider a friend now. Thank you Shari Butler More

The entire transaction moved very quickly, as if decisions were being made and then presented to the buyer. The exact amount of total finance was not discussed until the transaction had been process decisions were being made and then presented to the buyer. The exact amount of total finance was not discussed until the transaction had been processed. Would like to have seen the Carfax BEFORE the purchase. Buyer beware. Know what you are looking for and price match BEFORE being very cleverly persuaded. I can say the sales guy went to bat for me. I just hope I didn't purchase a lemon. Buyer please do your homework and read ALL the reviews on the vehicle you are interested in. I purchased a 2018 VW Tiguan with no depreciation value included in the purchase. Live & Learn. Know the worth of the vehicle first. Edmunds, and KBB are great tools. All in all I'm anxiously satisfied. On a positive note, I can say I was pleased with the finance options presented. Today's market is crazy. Know what you are doing and go in with a clear mind. Please note all papers signed. An Arbitration agreement will also be included. More
