I am compelled to document my extremely negative experience involving the purchase of a used 2016 Hyundai Veloster from this dealership and the dealership’s subsequent handling of serious mechanical experience involving the purchase of a used 2016 Hyundai Veloster from this dealership and the dealership’s subsequent handling of serious mechanical defects discovered almost immediately after delivery. Within 24 hours of taking possession of the vehicle, I identified a significant oil leak that was not disclosed prior to sale. This defect was discovered despite representations that the vehicle had undergone a multi-point inspection before being offered for purchase. The existence of a substantial mechanical issue immediately after delivery raises legitimate concerns regarding the adequacy and accuracy of the dealership’s inspection process, the condition in which the vehicle was knowingly sold, and whether all material facts concerning the vehicle’s condition were properly disclosed to the consumer prior to the transaction. Upon notifying the dealership, I was initially advised that arrangements would be made to retrieve the vehicle from my residence because of the nature of the defect. However, that position later changed, and I was instructed to personally operate the vehicle halfway to Ardmore to meet a sales representative and surrender the vehicle for repairs. Requiring a customer to continue operating a vehicle known to have an active oil leak — with the attendant risk of further engine damage, mechanical failure, or safety hazards — reflects a troubling lack of judgment and customer care. At no point was a loaner vehicle, rental assistance, or alternative transportation provided. In an effort to resolve this matter professionally, I contacted both Colton Thompson (Dealer Principal) and Shane Jones (General Manager) directly via email. As of this review, several days have passed without acknowledgment, response, or any meaningful attempt to address the concerns raised. The absence of communication from dealership leadership regarding a significant post-sale defect is both disappointing and unacceptable. Consumers are entitled to rely upon representations made by licensed dealerships concerning vehicle condition, inspection procedures, and overall roadworthiness. When a major mechanical defect manifests almost immediately after purchase, it naturally calls into question the reliability of those representations and the dealership’s pre-sale diligence. Equally concerning has been the dealership’s apparent lack of urgency, transparency, and accountability once the issue was reported. While no used vehicle can be guaranteed to be entirely free from future mechanical issues, consumers should reasonably expect honest disclosure, competent inspection practices, and responsive post-sale support when problems arise immediately after purchase. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership to prospective buyers without strongly advising that any vehicle under consideration first undergo an independent third-party inspection before any purchase documents are signed. This experience has been unnecessarily frustrating, time-consuming, and inconsistent with the level of professionalism and good-faith customer service that consumers should expect during a vehicle purchase transaction. On 6/3/2025 I bought a used car from Volkswagen OKC, OK. I traded in another Volkswagen with an agreed-on trade in value/pay off. As of 7/2/2025 they have not pay off the trade in and due to this another pa I traded in another Volkswagen with an agreed-on trade in value/pay off. As of 7/2/2025 they have not pay off the trade in and due to this another payment was taken out of our bank account causing undue hardship on my family. When asked about it I was informed it was our fault, we did not cancel the auto draft, and they had an unknown time frame of when they would pay off the trade in. If you have a trade-in with this company, get in writing when they will pay off your trade-in or you could be stuck making payments on a car you no longer have. More
