The wait is just too long if you need to wait on your vehicle. As I wait for over 3 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and a weathering strip to be reattached I couldn't help but notice every other waiting person becoming more and more angry with the wait time. One lady even had a conversation with me about how she's been coming here for years and they never used to be this slow. Every company has off days, but this last trip being my 5th has shown me this is a pattern. While the quality of work was complete and satisfactory, it is not worth my time. More

Tired of lack of customer service I want to start with the visit to find out about recalls and remote start install. I met with the shop that handled the recall repairs. I was asked my I want to start with the visit to find out about recalls and remote start install. I met with the shop that handled the recall repairs. I was asked my name and year and make of the truck. The tech wrote this info down on a post it note since his computer was not working at the time. A date and time was decided on. I then went to the other (1 of many) area and asked about remote start. Found out this was not the correct service area for this. This tech at least walked me to another area and introduced me to the service manager in charge of the remote install. He never even got out of his chair to introduce himself but he did write down my name and phone number on a post it note. He added the date I said I wanted to bring the truck in. I asked if I needed to set it up with anyone and he said "you just did". I asked if he needed the vehicle information and he said he didn't. I had to ask how long it was going to take and he said it would take about 3 hours. I then mentioned that when I checked with the parts department a couple of weeks back they quoted me about $625 for the parts and install so he added that I should probably check and make sure they have one. Good to know that I am having to provide everything so that they will have what they need to take my money. I then went to the parts department and found out they did not have one in stock and would have to order it. They weren't sure if it would arrive by the date set by the service department to install. I told them to order it and hopefully it would arrive be then. The date was 10 days out by the way. I went to drop the truck off for the recalls and updates which all but one were software updates. I understood when I dropped it off this should take no longer than "a couple of hours" so I was surprised when I called at 4pm after dripping it off before 8 am that it still wasn't done and I could pick it up after 5pm. When I went to pick it up I went to the building that I had met with the tech who was supposed to install the remote start and found out the truck was at the location that did the recall repairs. The service tech then pointed out the building which was on the other side of the dealership. The walk did not hurt but would have been nice to have them offer to take me to the other building. When I got over there the techs were all sitting around and after several minutes I was asked what I needed. I told him and he said my paperwork was at the window inside. No info on any repairs. I went in and the girl had her purse sitting on the counter and was definitely ready to go. I told her who I was and when she gave me the bill I was surprised it was $100 more than I was quoted for the remote start and install. When I told her this she said "I am new here and don't know anything about that". She called for my truck and told me where it was going to be brought to me. The only info I got was from the lot guy that brought me my truck. He was nice and said "don't do what I did, I used the remote start and then tried to start it again". If I had known I would have this type of service I would have ordered the same as factory remote start from Ram and got it for $96 less. If you decide to have any work done here please get written quotes and cards with names so you know who you are dealing with. I just want someplace that cares about their customers but I am starting to feel driven to go to either Ford or GM when I am ready to upgrade or purchase a vehicle. I truly love my Charger and Ram truck but just can't seem to get good customer service from Chrysler dealerships. I couldn't tell you the names of the techs that I dealt with but just try to explain things to people and appreciate when they come in and choose your dealership for parts, service or purchase. I have purchased oil change specials for the Charger and truck so I will go back to have them completed but would have to think long and hard about other service or repairs again. So far the remote start works but since I have no paperwork on it or had no one tell me about it I don't know if it has a warranty or how its supposed to work. More

Should have kept driving-terrible dealership One of the worst experiences in buying a vehicle I have ever had. I was looking for a specific Ram truck (2012 2500 Mega Cab). The only two dealership One of the worst experiences in buying a vehicle I have ever had. I was looking for a specific Ram truck (2012 2500 Mega Cab). The only two dealerships in range that had the vehicle were a dealer in St Louis and one at Olathe. I chose Olathe DCJ because it was a USAA preferred dealer. Huge mistake! First red flag. My salesperson kept walking away from me and my wife and clearly was not devoted to my sale. Kept leaving because some other couple " flew in from Nevada to buy a car". Oh, I guess they are more important... Red flag number two. Salesperson couldn't answer BASIC questions about the vehicle. Had to call the manager to explain the car fax to me. Vehicle was listed as a "one owner" truck but clearly was not according to the car fax and was also probably used as a dealer "lot truck". Not happy. But kept going because I already drove the 2.5hrs. Red flag three. No fuel in the truck for the test drive and salesperson RUSHING to get me in the truck so she could tend to other customers. Again, not concerned at the time because on cursory glance the truck looked ok. She also stated "there is just a enough fuel for a short drive". Well that was sure true. Truck was on vapors (24 DTE on the gauage). Didn't have a chance to run the truck up to highway speeds or go anywhere to evaulate and I wasn't about to buy fuel for a vehicle I did not own. Red flag four. Truck taken away immediately after test drive to be "detailed". I wanted to look at it again before I signed papers but salesperson mysteriously disapeared again and couldn't get anyone else to help. Bottom line is I should have walked away right then but i was already too time invested and it was listed as "certified" so figured so if there were problems I at least had the warranty. I also had my wife and son with me and time was running out to get home for the kid's bed time- did I mention I drove 2.5hrs to purchase. I bought the truck and immediately regretted my decision. we stopped to eat and I noticed that the entire bed side was dented. In addition the tailgate had a huge dent and scratch. Also while driving home the whole truck started vibrating from the rear end which I probably would have noticed during the test drive provided there was more than vapors in the gas tank. Called the dealership and had to vehemently argue to get the body repaired. They luckily gave me a loaner since I had to drive another 2.5hrs there and back to get the truck repaired. Guess what? No gas in that one either. So they fixed the bedside (looks decent so I guess that's a plus) but not the tailgate because "it would cost too much money to fix"... Really?! Said they fixed the vibration but they didn't. Also they truck was missing badges from the front of the truck which they said they would replace but didn't. I guess they are going to order them and ship them to me. Manager said "you can put those on right?" Sure can dude... Sure can. All of this should have been identified and repaired prior to a "certified" vehicle even going on the lot for sale. So my "fantastic deal" sucks because it is going to cost me minimum $2000.00 to fix the tailgate, get the badges, and hunt down the stupid vibration problem. I am not naive; I understand the challenges of used vehicle purchases, however for a so called "certified used truck" that costs over $45,000 the problems I have with this vehicle are outrageous. Not to mention I feel that I could have identified or at least negogatied a better deal had the acutal buying experience not been so terrible. I could have bought the same truck that was in much better shape for a better deal if I had just kept driving to the St Louis Dealership. The customer service would have been better too because I don't think it could be any worse than this place. Honestly I am just so angry with this place that I'm sick about it. I guess this is how they choose to treat their miltary customers which is why I will NEVER recommend anyone I know to buy a car or truck here. Just another big dealership that couldn't give a crap about anything but their bottom line. More
