We stopped in yesterday thinking we would look at a Camry because we are practical people looking for a good value and great milage (we keep our cars a long time). After driving the Camry Hybrid, while a nice car, it didn't offer some of the luxury that I'm used to (Infiniti owner). Shannon was busy with other customers who had made an appointment (we had not) and she asked if Kendall could go with us to test drive an Avalon. I was opposed to an Avalon as being the car for the geriatric generation. I was quite surprised in the ride, handling and style of the car. Kendall was very well informed and his "newness" didn't show thru. Both Kendall and Shannon made the experience of buying a new car from Kenny Thomas Olathe Toyota a pleasant one. When i drove up to the facility I was promptly greeted warmly by Mr. Alberty who was waiting outside. He came up and asked how he can help me and led me just where I needed to go. The Used cars. I let him know my budget and he was respectful of it which made me feel comfortable. Unlike other places i have been that tried to get me to spend more than i could afford. He Told me the safety information on the 2 cars that i was interested in and let me know how they compare which was a big thing for me seeing as it is my main transportation and i have children. He was quick to let me test drive the vehicle to make sure i liked it. And kept everything easy for me to understand. Which has also been and issue in my past car buying experiences. After the test drive he assured me that he would do everything we could to make sure i could get the best deal and he did. I was able to get the 1.9% with ZERO down. I didn't have my husband with me so i was doing this all my own and he knew i was a little unsure about some of the paperwork. He explained everything where i could understand it and made me feel very comfortable. We chatted about out families and places we have been on vacation. It was very welcoming, and i enjoyed the engaging conversation . . I didn't feel like he was trying to make a commission i felt he was genuine in making sure i had the safest care that would be best suited for my needs ,price range, and lifestyle. I would definitely come back to Toyota and ask for Mr. Alberty. In the end i felt welcomed and confident in my purchase with Toyota and the extra bonus THE LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!!! I would personaly like to thank him for his patience in helping me with my purchase and explaining everything to me in "Laymans " terms so that i felt comfortable enough to buy a car without my husband there to help me.
