Due to ongoing warranty concerns, I originally initiated contact with General Motors, primarily in hopes of getting a power steering issue I was having with my Buick Enclave repaired under warranty. A General Motors representative phoned me and advised that I really needed to get the vehicle over to the dealership so the service department could diagnose the problem. The GM rep then conferenced Orange Buick on the call and Tom Santiago answered. He immediately went into a "service excellence" mode and said he would take care of me and asked me to bring the vehicle in. I started to get some comfort from Tom's attitude and comments, but I still had some reservations. The next morning, I brought the Enclave in, but on the way, another ongoing issue occurred - the headliner was dripping water inside and onto the rear seat. This had happened numerous times before, but I had never had it looked at. Upon arrival at Orange, I pulled up to Tom's desk. Tom was quick to get things started and said he had already discussed my power steering issue with his "boss." Tom then asked if I was having any other problems, so I mentioned the headliner drip. He then looked at the service records for my Enclave and noted there was some history with the power steering and headliner drainage and because of this, he might be able to get this covered under warranty. Later that day, Tom called me to let me know they replaced the power steering pump and also replaced the water pump due to a leak I was not even aware of. He noted they still had work to do on the headliner, but the car would be completely repaired by the next day - all either under warranty, or as an act of goodwill on behalf of the service department/dealership. Obviously, Orange Buick's service department overwhelmingly exceeded my expectations. I was hoping to just get my power steering issue resolved, but got two other issues taken care of as well. This was due to the exceptional service and attention to detail provided by Tom and the rest of the service department staff. I am a Saturn owner and when Saturn went out of business I was referred to Orange Buick GMC. I can't even compare it to Saturn because Orange Bucik is leaps ahead in terms of workmanship, service and customer service. Bill Murdock always greets me with a smile and keep me informed as to the state and progress of the service to my car before and after service. I would definitely recommend Orange Buick to my friends and neighbors. The complementary Breakfast and or lunch is always very tasty also. More
We took our Rendezvous to get the intake manifold seals replaced. Bill kept us updated on the progress as it was an all-day job. Service advisor is excellent, doesn't try to sell you things you don't need. Always able to get you in, in an emergency. They don't overcharge. I needed some warranty work done on my Pontiac G6, and was looking for a dealer more local than the previous one I had used. I found Orange Buick GMC online and called to set up an appointment with Tom. H was looking for a dealer more local than the previous one I had used. I found Orange Buick GMC online and called to set up an appointment with Tom. His outgoing personality immediately put me at ease, and by the end of the appointment, his experience and knowledge reinforced in my mind that my car was in good hands. He even said he would send me a coupon towards the cost of some other work that was (expectedly) identified during my visit, which arrived in the mail a few days later! When it came time to schedule the additional service, Tom was on vacation, so I spoke with Bill Murdoch. Bill's customer service was first rate and his communication was clear and consistent. He called on confirm appointment and rental car availability (I had to leave the car overnight). When I arrived to drop off my car, he reviewed my records with me so that he was clear on all the items Tom and I had discussed. He called the next morning to update me on the status of their work and to discuss two other items they could fix (burnt out headlamp, additional shift solenoid) and the cost of that service. When I arrived to pick up my car, Bill reviewed all the completed work before sending me on my way! Each time I've had my car in to Orange Buick GMC, I leave with a smile on my face, not only because my car is working better but because I appreciate the friendly service and personal treatment I receive while I'm there. I have taken both my Pontiac Vibe and the Saturn my daughter drives to Orange Buick multiple times. My most recent visit was for a basic oil change. Thomas was quick to let me know what the safety check had shown, and had a price ready for the wipers I needed. The waiting room was comfortable, a complimentary lunch was offered, and everyone was very friendly. I have been in before for service, and also for repairs when my window slid down last year and would not close. Although the glass needed to be ordered, the service people managed to get the glass into place so that I could continue to drive the car while waiting for the glass to arrive. They even disabled the window control so that I wouldn't accidentally open the window. The driver who took me to and picked me up from work was also very friendly. More
