First Class Experience Wife and I researched and found four cars on Palm's Web site. We drove over to take a look. We were met by Chris Drewry and he showed us the four cars and asked us some questions. It was narrowed down to two identical cars, different colors. My wife drove the one she liked. There was no high pressure sales pitch. The monthly payment was what my wife wanted and we filled out all of the paperwork. Robert, the finance manager was great, did not push all of the extras and we made the choice we felt we needed. Chris was able to transfer the insurance from my wife's old car on to the new one. The biggest surprise was the fact we were able to drive home with the car that night, all cleaned up and a full tank of gas. Chris spent about 40 minutes explaining all of the controls, etc with us. After a brief conversation with Dayron, we started to ask questions about the ZL1 that had caught my eye. Dayron introduced us to Dominick Dennis. Dominick had a vast amount of knowledge about the ZL1. The test drive sealed the deal. Thanks Dominick for making that the greatest test drive a person could ask for. Sealing the deal of course meant a trip into the finance office of Richard Howard. Richard helped us to get through the financing while making small talk and enjoying a few laughs. A Chevy Dealership That Cares I visited Palm Chevy for service on my 2011 Chevy Silverado 3500. The dealer noticed a leak from the transmission & corrected it under warranty. In addition they performed the ignition recall on my 2011 Chevy Impala while I was there. My service writer, Glen McCorvy was polite & helpful & seemed to be genuinely concerned that I had a great service experience. One concern I had in the past was that the Service Mgr. Don Smith had left the dealership. I was very happy to see that his son, don Smith III had replaced him. The son, Don III, has been with Palm Chevy for 21 years according to the decal on his door. Don talked with me & asked me about my experience at the dealership. As far as I am concerned, this will be my dealer for the rest of my life. I moved to Ocala from New Jersey about a year ago, & I was very worried that I would not find a dealer as good as the one I had in NJ. Well, Palm Chevy is a great replacement! More
