I recently purchased a 2019 ram 1500 from Palmer very nice truck, but unfortunately the engine failed less than 500 miles of ownership. I purchased an extended warranty from the dealer unknowingly it has nice truck, but unfortunately the engine failed less than 500 miles of ownership. I purchased an extended warranty from the dealer unknowingly it has a 45 day wait period. Palmer did the right thing and cover the cost of the engine replacement. Very pleased with Steve and Rich in the service department were very good to work with helping with a very unfortunate situation. A few lessons learned when purchasing an extended warranty. Be sure you see the fine print of the waiting period next if if purchasing a vehicle with 100,000 miles you may want to have your own inspection. I must admit test driving in a few days before it went out, the ram had no signs of engine problems. I would recommend quality control for a major job like engine replacement to check out components other than the technician. example when I went to pick it up, Rich notice the brake pedal was soft. The brakes needed bleeding last week. The top radiator hose had a major leak which I thought was the radiator turned out to be just the hose not on good. Highly recommend service department and sales did a great job remedy in this situation. More
I had to bring my 2016 Dodge EcoDiesel in for a fuel pump recall. Unfortunately, my overall experience wasn’t great. The vehicle was at the dealership for a full week, and we never received a call letting us recall. Unfortunately, my overall experience wasn’t great. The vehicle was at the dealership for a full week, and we never received a call letting us know it was ready for pickup. When we finally got the truck back, we noticed the heat cover for the fuel pump was missing, along with a front trim piece. We reached out to the service department to ask if anyone had seen them or why they weren’t reinstalled, but nobody had any answers. Because of these issues and the lack of communication, I can’t honestly give Palmer Dodge a positive review based on this visit. More

Great experience with this service team. I always feel well taken care of when I drop my vehicle off for service.
