Ppor communication I chose Palmer Dodge to handle a problem with my wife's van. We made an appointment and I was on time for that appointment. I took advantage of your driver to drop me off at work, about 3 miles away. Your courtesy driver was the highlight of my service. She did great! I had to follow-up on the status of my car the afternoon of the day I dropped it off. (I dropped off at 7:30, called at 2 PM.) I was told that 5 technicians called in sick and they hadn't even looked at my van. "Let me talk to the service bay and I'll get back to you." Two hours later I called again because the driving service supposedly ended at 4. I was then informed that my van would not be seen that day. Summary - I was provided a car for the day, thank you, and the car was repaired the next day. However, as I drove it home, the Stop/Start was still not working. I called back and was told it would take 24 hours to reset. So...my rating is because your communication, across the board, was awful. Don't worry...I won't be back. More

Unnecessary work I came in for an oil change. That's all. But Hiram, the advisor, said it would be 90 minutes for an oil change (which is absurd) and that my vehicle, I came in for an oil change. That's all. But Hiram, the advisor, said it would be 90 minutes for an oil change (which is absurd) and that my vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Durango, needed new plugs at 86,000 miles (which would take just about 2 1//2 hours). This was either a lie or he was mistaken. According to the maintenance schedule, which I reviewed after I got home and became suspicious, is at 48,000 and 96,000 miles. But further, I found paperwork indicating that I had new plugs installed when I brought the vehicle in for service at 78,000 miles, when Hiram was also my service advisor. So I did not need new plugs just 8,000 miles later. I called his manager, David Keller, who was very nice and gave me a refund for the plug work, but I am still not happy. Dealer service departments have a reputation for trying to add on unnecessary work, and Hiram confirmed that. I will most likely not return to the dealership for future service. I don't trust them any more. More
I needed to have airbag recalls on 2 vehicles completed. I showed up Monday morning planning to simply schedule the recalls.
