Your Vehicle is Ready, Not Ready My wife brought our 2016 Dodge Durango in to be serviced on 7/23/19 because it was running rough and the check engine light was on. The service depar My wife brought our 2016 Dodge Durango in to be serviced on 7/23/19 because it was running rough and the check engine light was on. The service department found shorted out ignition coils and spark plugs fouled out. A complete fuel induction service was done at our request too. We were notified the vehicle was repaired and ready to be picked up on 7/31/19, over a week after being dropped off. Moments after paying over $1000.00 for service, the engine light came back on as my wife was driving away from Palmer Dodge. My wife turned around immediately, brought the vehicle back to the service department and after waiting for nearly an hour was informed there were hundreds of dollars in additional repairs to be done. When I spoke with the service adviser, Mr. Pappas, on the 31st, I asked, "what happened to where the vehicle was there for a week and no one was able to see the job had not been done and my wife was the one to bring it to the attention of the service department after only moments on the road?". He shared they needed to replace rockers inside the cylinder head and shared that "we couldn't figure out why that spark plug was damaged like that". My reply to this was, "what happened that no one caught this before we paid over $1000 for service and had been told the vehicle was repaired. Mr. Pappas shared that there are several quality controls and test drives that occur to ensure the work is done. And still the vehicle was not fixed and no one caught the lingering concern. This is after we paid for the repairs and had to come back to the service department. I visited the service area and was shown the work yet to be done. When speaking with Mr. Pappas he also shared his tech "had to go deeper" to find the problem. Why did they not "go deeper" during the week the vehicle was in the shop, especially when they "could not figure out why the spark plug was damaged like that". I informed Mr. Pappas that I do not believe we should have to pay for repairs that no one caught through your quality control process, especially when there were lingering questions from the service department about the damage, and then being told the vehicle was ready and paying over $1000 for the initial service. Mr. Pappas informed me he could not authorize this and I would need to see his manager. I plan to see his manager today, since he was on vacation when I visited the service department on Friday, the 2nd of August. More

Great job as always! The engine light on Jeep came on as I was driving home from our family vacation. I was the first person in line Monday morning and worked with Thomas The engine light on Jeep came on as I was driving home from our family vacation. I was the first person in line Monday morning and worked with Thomas Pappas He was able to get my truck in and diagnosed really fast. Unfortunately, it was the catalytic converter. Thomas was able to get my truck in to get serviced that morning and resolved my issue. I had them change the oil at the same time. The repair cost wasn't as high as I thought it would be. The service is always speedy and great and Thomas is always friendly, personable and looking out for the customer. When I go back for any service, I always go back to Thomas! More

I appreciate having a loaner car, but the Jeep Remicon is the only type Palmer uses as a loaner. It is very difficult for me to get in and out of and I use my vehicle for work and I have to carry sample bags so the Remicon does not work very well for that either. More
