I feel robbed. The car was driving perfectly fine. We took it in for a tempt light that came on when AC was on and the car was idling. After keeping the car for 3 The car was driving perfectly fine. Mechanics were gone for the day at 4:30pm and no diagnosis had been made. I get a call first thing in the am to let me know the master cylinder had gone bad. I was Charged 500 to diagnose after chip didn't reveal a problem. Then was told the master cylinder needed replacing........ Car had just run out of warranty this year. We were charged 2600 for repair - this is crazy. The master cylinder should not fail at 40K miles. Also, the car should not have been driving perfectly fine if the master cylinder was bad, but what choice did we have at this point? I have lost all trust in Jeep and have no plans to by a jeep in the future. The service coordinators were perfectly nice. Neil our service manager was great with communication after the diagnosis...not his fault for the diagnosis - but Jeep in general should make a product that doesn't fail at 40K miles. More
