Service is fine but sneaky, horrible mechanical work. Replaced timing belt issue under warranty, mechanic apparently stripped a screw causing oil leakage in the timing belt cover pan and eliminated a brac Replaced timing belt issue under warranty, mechanic apparently stripped a screw causing oil leakage in the timing belt cover pan and eliminated a bracket support for intake manifold (missing), on another extended warranty repair the dealer did not honor the agreement with extended warranty company for repairs and did half of the repairs for the same price, I found out later that Palmetto 57 has one of the highest mechanical rates for VW in Florida and since the extended company were not willing such high rate Palmetto 57 simply cut down on labor to adjust for the agreed repair price so they wouldn't loose money on the mechanical rate, had to pay out of pocket to do it right somewhere else, never going back again. More

Stop taking advantage of the customer. Came in to the Palmetto 57 VW dealership on Mar 15 to test drive the new 2020 VW Sport Atlas SE/Tech package. Loved the vehicle. There was one we were particular interesting in due to its color combination. We set down in the sales person office to receive an outrage monthly lease offer. The offer was so high as I would pay almost 75% of the vehicle value in the 36 months lease term. I was asked to make a counter offer. I was in shock, and my response why I would give you any business. Stop taking advantage of the customers. Treat them right the first time. More
