price in stores were different online So I want to start by saying that this was my first car buying experience, I saw this Honda Civic 2017 sport touring for 18k. I made an appointment to So I want to start by saying that this was my first car buying experience, I saw this Honda Civic 2017 sport touring for 18k. I made an appointment to see it on a friday but ended up going on thursday night. long story short, i pretended that i didn't saw this car on the site, keep in mind I had memorized the carfax and knew it had prior damage, the car was marked up to 25k and the salesmen and manager tried to justify it. salesman shows me the experian car history with no prior accidents, I'm like wow that dirty move right there. I eventually told them both about the internet price; manager told me the online price is so people can come in to their business and it was before the certification price. they lowered it to 21k, i wanted them to lower it to 17k they said no, i got depressed and started to walk out, regional manager tried to workout a deal and lowered it to 19k, I left. following day, car was sold. the car on their site was taken down. then i get a text that the car is not sold and its still available. I told the salesman to cut the crap and be honest, he became honest for once that was a plus. He told me why would we sell this car for below internet price when we have the lowest price within 300 mile radius. I asked him to work with me, be on my side this is a big investment, he said he was on no ones side he's just a paper pusher and any agreement is between his manager and me. I pretended to not know about to car because I was testing their integrity. if you're not careful they will take you for everything you got. More
