We bought our 2006 Civic EX from Paragon Honda. I have been taking my car to Paragon Honda service center on and off for the last five years. The waiting room has fresh fruit, tea, snacks, newspapers and Apple computers with Internet access. It makes the waiting easier. I visited Paragon Honda on July 30th 2011 at 7.30pm . I met Kevin who understood my needs quickly , showed me both Honda pilot and Honda odyssey and explained them feature by feature. I test drove both the vehicles.Negotiated the price for my old car and worked on the lease pricing for the new car . By 9.30pm , i closed the whole deal and i am the proud owner of 2011 brand new Honda odyssey with DVD Entertainment system. My overall experience is wonderful. Sales guy Kevin is great. He goes to "that" extra mile with his personal touch while selling the car. He was never pushy, he gave my own time during the drive , answered my questions patiently, worked with me carefully on numbers along with his boss Ariel even at 9.30pm on Saturday . Once the sale is over, i took the delivery on August 1st,2011 . My experience again with Kevin and Rachel ( Delivery coordinator ) was wonderful. Rachel took time and explained every feature in spite it being 9.30pm on Monday . I am very happy with my purchase and the dealership. My previous experience at Nissan dealer ship ( my old one is Nissan Pathfinder 2003) was not that great . I strongly recommend Kevin and his boss Ariel who goes to that extra mile to give the best car you need basing on your requirements. Keep it up guys.. We love paragon honda!!!. More
I just have to write this review about the most beautiful, professional shopping experience that I have ever had! Angel Perez was my car salesman and I met him when I first came into the showroom beautiful, professional shopping experience that I have ever had! Angel Perez was my car salesman and I met him when I first came into the showroom at the Honda Paragon dealership. I had jus had a very bad experience with another dealer, so I was trying to be optimistic. Angel took me very carefully through the features of the Honda Accord, answered all my questions, took me out on a test drive, and then I told him I wanted the car. I was not planning on leasing that day, but he was so professional and just like a real friend that all my fears melted away. Everyone at the dealership was really friendly and helpful, but Angel was extra special. Then I was taken to the finance department where I met Joseph, forgive me Joseph, I do not know your last name, Korean Joseph, and he took me very carefully through the numbers and all the paperwork, which is considerable. It would be easy to get lost and not understand, but Joseph kep a good pace without rushing, which is really important. We also had a great conversation about other things the whole time! Then I was taken to Elsie Tavarez who looks like she stepped out of a Renaissance painting and she took me very carefully through the use of all of the features on the Accord. It was over 90 degrees, sweltering hot, and we were on the sun side of the building, but this did not phase Elsie. She turned the car on, ran the A/C, and prodeeded from there to train me. What an excellent teacher you are Elsie! I went back to Angel who had tons of paperwork to do too and the afternoon twirled away. I felt included, important, informed, and trusted. I know nothing about cars, but learned alot and I am know very interested in learning more. Horrible Dealership. Will not sell to out of state. They advertise on the internet but must fly in to buy the car. I do this all the time where you buy a car without actually being at the dealer and then w advertise on the internet but must fly in to buy the car. I went into Paragon Honda after contacting them through the Costco buying program. I spoke with Rachel who gave me a price quote over the phone. I went into Paragon the next day and met Ivonne and Evelyn the Costco buying program. I spoke with Rachel who gave me a price quote over the phone. I went into Paragon the next day and met Ivonne and Evelyn who helped write up the deal. Everything I spoke with Rachel about was written up and saved. I had the contract written up and signed in about 10-15 minutes all while being offered coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies. My husband could not believe how quick, easy and pleasant this transaction was. Ivonne told me the car would be in within 1-2 weeks. She said it would probably be sooner but she did not want to promise anything in case there was a delay. Well within three days the car was in. I went to Paragon and picked up the car. Aman was great to deal with in regards to financing. Elsie showed me all of the features on the car and really took her time. She asked if I had any other questions and left me with her days she worked and number to reach her at if I had any questions later. This is the worst dealer experience I have ever had. The dealer Andrez Sanchez at Paragon Honda in Queens, NY was so disrespectful and un-professional that he kept me and my wife waiting for over 3 hours wi dealer Andrez Sanchez at Paragon Honda in Queens, NY was so disrespectful and un-professional that he kept me and my wife waiting for over 3 hours without helping us with anything. He would come and talk to us for 30 seconds and then disappear for 20 minutes (He was apparently such a good salesman that he was dealing with 3 customers at the same time). After a hurried test drive and asking us for the color we wanted for a new Honda Odyssey, he excused himself for 2 minutes again, came back 20 minutes later and gave us a price quote which was $5K higher than what the internet sales person had told me. The said price was $3K higher than MSRP on Honda's website. By this time we had been completely and utterly dissapointed (we spent 2 hours on the road driving to Paragon) and decided to walk out. Before walking out I told him how bad our experience but there was no shame for his behaviour or concern for a lost sale (I was planning on paying cash and buy the vehicle immediately). To top it all he told me before I left that they did not have a vehicle in stock and the one I had just test driven was already sold. His internet representative had told me they all the vehicles and colurs in stock. Best part is, I bought my first car from them. I could not believe this is how they treat their repeat customers. Try your luck but do avoid Mr. Sanchez. More
After my first two trips to Paragon I vowed never to go back. After speaking with Joe (the sales manager) he apologized, admitted they'd made mistakes and was determined to put things right. So I gave them a third chance Third time is a charm! I went to see a car today and it was a totally different experience from my previous visits. The car was ready on arrival, I was test driving it within a few minutes and they sales guys were really helpful. I saw a different side to Paragon today and I was impressed. One important difference with Paragon is that they seem pretty honest and clear, with regard to pricing. The price you see is the price you pay. There weren't any nonsense fees that I've encountered at other dealerships. More
