I'm impressed! I came in to Paramount after another VW dealer in Concord, NC rubbed me the wrong way when they refused to remove the $1100 dealer add-on package (tin I came in to Paramount after another VW dealer in Concord, NC rubbed me the wrong way when they refused to remove the $1100 dealer add-on package (tint, tint warranty, nitrogen, fabric guard). I wanted a Golf Sportwagen 4motion with a manual transmission and these are not the most common to find. I saw online that Paramount had one so I decided to stop in and see what they could do. Todd Hardin greeted me and once I told him what car I was looking for he discovered it was at their overflow lot so we headed there for a test drive. Todd was exceptionally courteous, personable, and knowledgeable. I didn't feel pressured with at all which is unlike the typical dealer experience. In fact I think part of the reason I bough the car on the spot is that he made the whole experience very pleasant. I feel that I got a pretty decent deal on a somewhat rare car too! When it was time to do the paperwork Colton took over. Just like Todd, Colton was very personable and professional. A big part of the F&I person's job is to upsell customers on certain packages. Colton showed the benefits of the different packages and explained the value they brought. Although in my unique case most of them weren't the right fit for me I did end up taking the gap insurance. Colton did not use high pressure tactics either and for that I'm very appreciative. We even found out that we have a mutual friend who shares Colton's love of Z33 chassis Nissans and also happened to buy a Passat TDi at Paramount. Because of the treatment I received that day I will certainly spread the word to anyone in the area I encounter who is looking for a VW. Thanks again guys, love the car! More
