An Experience Worth The Drive My wife and I traveled to Hickory, NC on Thursday, a two and a half hour drive from home, to purchase a used Volvo from another dealer, but when I arr My wife and I traveled to Hickory, NC on Thursday, a two and a half hour drive from home, to purchase a used Volvo from another dealer, but when I arrived nothing was as advertised. As we headed out of town, rather mad because of the wasted time, we passed Paramount and decided to check out their inventory. We were happy to discover they had the car we were looking for! Unfortunately, it was late and the dealership was closed. We discussed (cough cough) the car on our drive home and I was... told to call about it the next day. As with any "dealing" there is some back and forth, but my salesperson was completely professional and attentive. Allow me to elaborate. As we were firming up our deal he had to rush to the ER for a sick family member. I discovered this when he answered the phone, as he was heading to the hospital, to ask if he could call me back later. I was thinking to myself, I might need to get a new salesperson, but I decided I'd give him some time. As promised, in an hour he called me back. We returned to Hickory on Monday to pick-up our car. We arrived later than hoped, which required several people to stay past closing to take care of us, but never once did we feel we were being rushed. They had all the time in the world for us. More
