Paramount Porsche Volvo VW

I was looking to buy a new VW Golf, either the GTI or the Golf R. Originally the Golf R was my choice, they found me a perfect car at a great price. They gave me the gti at a deal that the local VW dealership couldn't even touch. I am in Abingdon, VA and Paramount is in Hickory, NC. I agreed on the payment terms and the car was hand delivered to me at my work! No delivery charges anything. The service I recieved was the best automotive experience I have ever had. I work in customer service and I know the value of hospitality and doing whatever it takes to meet your customers needs. They definately will have me as a customer in the future! More

After conducting on-line research, I had narrowed down my possible purchase selections to either Volvo or Subaru (Outback) for purchase sometime in December or early January 2013. I went to Volvo and scoped out the two models I had in mind, making sure they fit my requirements (elder parent can ingress/egress easily, passenger seats fold completely down to allow hauling handbells and associated paraphenalia, and some form of better gas mileage). Saftey concerns were already addressed in my on-line research. I was not hassled with phone calls or e-mails after my visit. Later, when it became necessary to sell back an older model car (12 yrs old w/26,000 miles), we investigated Carmax...bummer of an offer. I then suggested that we should check out Paramount Volvo to see what they would offer. It turns out that Raymond and Joel suggested a deal that could not be refused. No push, no shoving, no hard sell...just options. My elder parent worked as a cost analyst...so you know the rest of the story. More

I have been with Paramount now for a few years haveing my Volvo serviced and the service dept is outstanding especially Wes!! Everything was positive from there, Mr. Pletcher walked us thru the deal with no surprises, he sat in the Cayenne and went thru all the features and made sure we knew how to use them.It was so pleasant we returned the next week and bought a 997turbo from Mr. Pletcher. My wife and I have purchased a number of cars and I can say this was by far the easiest and best experience either of us has ever had at any dealership. More

It took about 10 minutes to recognized they had the vehicle I wanted. It took 5 to make an offer. It took 5 more to work out details and know I had a deal I could accept. Ten minutes of paper work and it was mine. Then Matthew spent nearly 40 minutes going over the features and setting things up in the car. WHen your car buying experience totals less that an hour and 40 minutes of that was training and setup ... its a good day. More

My wife and I visited Paramount last week in search of a car for use as a company vehicle. I specifically was interested in the VW Passat. Rick Holland was my sales representative and he made the entire car buying experience extremely pleasant. As I told Rick, "I hate every aspect of the car buying experience". I explined to Rick what my car needs were and he was very accomodating to my wife and me. I made 3 visits within a 3 day period and at no time did Rick try to hard sell me on anything. He understood exactly what I was looking for in a company car and didn't try to upsell me to more expensive models with additional features that I don't need. We were very appreciative of his patience with us while we were testing other cars and trying to come to a concensus as to which brand to buy. This was our first expereience buying from Paramount and we would definitely buy from them again. We bought a beautiful blue Passat SE and couldn't be happier with it so far. The ride, handling, and interior quietness were better than any of the other cars that we tested. I guess that is why it is Motor Trend's 2012 car of the year.
