I had fallen victim to a number of tricks years ago when I purchased a new car from a central Jersey Hyundai dealership and was not going to find myself in a similar situation. At Paramus Hyundai, they knew that I was leaving in my old car or a new car...and it was up to them to make the sale...I left with a leased 2017 Hyundai and was overall satisfied with my experience. Ritchie showed me the car I wanted right away and we got down to business to discuss what my lease would look like. He worked with me and the finance department to deliver a deal that i was satisfied with. I had no down payment and was looking to trade in my 8 year old Tucson (which had its share of problems), but they made it work in my favor. There was no bait and switch. I didn't feel like anyone at the dealership was the stereotypical slimy car dealer. I will say that James, the manager, is very good at getting you in the door and then quickly delivers you to a dealer. I understand that is how it works, but I would also recommend perhaps it not be so transparent. But, again, his communication with me prior to the purchase was why I decided to shop there. More
