The service did not meet expected standards. I took my 2023 Hyundai Elantra in for a window motor repair and left it for the day. Before leaving, the customer service representative quickly ran his fingers over my newly purchased tires and mentioned that I needed an alignment. I trusted his assessment and paid $175 for an alignment, which I later discovered I did not actually need. When I picked up the vehicle several hours later, I was told that they had "greased" the driver-side window and that a new motor was not necessary. However, upon attempting to roll down the window, I noticed it was moving even slower and struggled to roll back up. At that time, I also observed a dent in my vehicle that was not present when I dropped it off. They apologized and assured me they would arrange to have it repaired. I have contacted the service department multiple times and received an email indicating they were looking for a local repair option. Several months have passed, and the dent remains unrepaired. Meanwhile, my passenger-side window started experiencing similar issues, requiring a motor replacement. My daughter took the vehicle to Gainesville and waited five hours before being told the motor part needed to be ordered and that she should return the following week. Prior to this, I had spoken with the Service Department lead, Luciano, informing him of our travel plans of approximately one hour and requesting that the motor be ordered in advance to avoid multiple trips. I also mentioned the dent again, and he assured me he would follow up. When my daughter returned the following week, the repair was completed, but she still found the window rolling down slowly. When she brought this to Edwin's attention, he dismissively told her it was as fast as the others. I am highly dissatisfied with Gainesville Hyundai. It is disappointing to know that for any future services, I will need to travel 2.5 hours to the next nearest Hyundai dealership. This experience has led me to reconsider purchasing a Hyundai in the future. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service received. More
