Worse Dealership By far worst dealership ever . I’m 53 years old, and I’ve bought many autos and I have never had such a horrible experience before.. We were shopping By far worst dealership ever . I’m 53 years old, and I’ve bought many autos and I have never had such a horrible experience before.. We were shopping with our son online, and he saw a Honda Civic Hatchback Sport that he liked. He contacted hardy online because he was visiting me in Texas. When we went back to MS he set an appointment to look and test drive the car. We thought we would be dealing with Hardy but instead we talked to a Dusty Ward. My son test drove the car loved it. He told Dusty where he wanted his note to be. Dusty never did anything to try and make a deal, or even tell use what he could get the note to at the lowest. He just said he couldn’t do the note he wanted and shook my sons hand and we walked away. We were never told what they would give him for his trade in. Seemed like Dusty was a little too worried about the Ole Miss Football game. Needless to say, we left. About a hour later hardy texted my son and asked how his visit went. My son told him it didn’t go good at all. He let Hardy know how we was treated, and he said he was sorry and said let me know what we can do. My son and Hardy were texting and he let Hardy know he was willing to pay a little that he originally wanted.. My son and Hardy agreed on a note of $348.02 (We have proof in a text) Now mind you I live 6 hours away and I have to be there because I co-signed on the vehicle he is wanting to trade in. My son checked with Hardy before I left to ensure that nothing would change when we got there. So I left Texas to drive to Patty Peck. We had an appointment for 1 o’clock to sign papers and get the car. Around 10 am Hardy calls my son and says they sold the car he wanted but that he could get another one there ( now mind you I’m already 2 -2 hours in my trip there ) My son said ok man I can’t believe y’all sold that car that I test drove knowing I wanted it. I loved it .. Hardy then said .. o no that’s the Sport. You wanted the LX. This is clearly a lie since my son gave him the stock number the first time that they talked. Hardy then says obviously it’s going to be more than I told you. (There is a $5 price difference online between the car he wanted and the car that Hardy was now trying to sell him all of a sudden) Why would you give him a price on a different car when they knew from the jump which car he was interested in.... I called up there 5 times tying to talk to a manager and never got through to speak to anyone. This place is a joke. It takes a terrible business/employee to lie to you just to get you to book an appointment. I would never deal with this kind of establishment no matter what I was buying.. My son drove home to Hattiesburg, MS and went to Vardaman Honda where we were treated with respect, and given exactly the note he wanted on the HONDA CIVIC HATCHBACK SPORT. They were professional, unlike patty peck. I would not waste my time at this kind of establishment ever again. I drove 8 and a half hours total for them to change prices as soon as they knew I was already on the way. More
