OK, HERE I GO. .. This is not meant to hurt anyone but instead, to be more precise and professional when giving out diagnostics and quotes to new clients. I brou .. This is not meant to hurt anyone but instead, to be more precise and professional when giving out diagnostics and quotes to new clients. I brought my sister Nissan Pathfinder 2013 with 73k miles for oil change on Friday, 2/25/21. The oil was changed on Sept 2021 among other repairs such as the front axle and other parts including the "DRIVE Belt". At that time the vehicle had 68k miles. The service was done at Jenkins Nissan. At the time we were living in Mount Dora, Fl. As per I was told by a former Nissan mechanic, all repairs done at dealerships are kept on file within the Nissan network, no matter where you take the vehicle, it will displayed when and what was repaired. Last Friday I received a quote not only for my oil change but including among other things, to have the "Drive Belt" replaced, again. I hesitated to approve the job at once. At the moment I couldn't recall if it was part of the previous repair. As soon I got home, I asked for the invoice for that job. VOILA! The "Drive Belt" replacement was included in the job. I asked myself, does it was visually inspected? How does the mechanic get to that conclusion? I google it and found that replace the belt on that model, the right side tire needed to be removed together with the plastic cover on the side. No way it could be visually seen from the top as you open the hood, as the service rep intended to convince me of the way it was done. Less, with only 4k miles ran after the replacement was done? My concern is that, if it was my sister, not knowing anything about cars, she could have said "yes, do it" and given the go-ahead for the repair. They should have checked the history of the vehicle before assuming, based on books recommendations and on the mileage, before writing the diagnostic. OJO!!! As a new Client, I was VERY disappointed. I went today 02/28/21 to the dealer with both receipts and the service rep that attended me on Friday and today was very sorry for what happened. He gave me the assistant Manager card to call but the trust has been lost already. We could have unnecessary spend $300.00. Thank you. More
Okay on time. Safety concern. Checking everything overall. Give advice on repairs that are needed. I was shocked that there was a credit repair program. Safety concern. Checking everything overall. Give advice on repairs that are needed. I was shocked that there was a credit repair program. More
