Horrible Took my '17 Versa in for service on a Saturday. Found that my fuel tank had been damaged and was leaking. told them I would make a claim with my insur Took my '17 Versa in for service on a Saturday. Found that my fuel tank had been damaged and was leaking. told them I would make a claim with my insurance and to get the ball rolling on a Saturday which they close early @ !pm. Pedder gave me a quote of appx. >1000. The insurance estimator called Monday and emailed them stating he was replacing like for like & found a salvaged tank and gave them an order #. The tank was not ordered for over a week, with Pedder stating they were waiting for the insurance company to order it. When the tank finally arrived, Pedder said the fuel line was cut and the used tank could not be installed. insurance said send me a picture (which could justify a new tank) which Pedder said the tank had already been returned so no pic could be taken. Insurance said salvage yard has numerous tanks, order another one. The exact same scenario happened. Tank with "cut" fuel line arrived & was returned without a picture being taken. This all took over three weeks. In which the insurance pulled my rental vehicle after two weeks. I paid for my service and the labor to R&R the fuel tank (?) to be able to take my Versa to Gosch Collision. Who was able to follow protocol and have a NEW tank installed in three days. Friendly staff, but so is the staff at Taco Bell. More
