I’ve had nothing but poor experiences with this service department. In 1.5 years of working with them I’ve had three services performed and it’s been nothing but headaches for me. 1. They sold me a department. In 1.5 years of working with them I’ve had three services performed and it’s been nothing but headaches for me. 1. They sold me a car with a bad windshield washer pump, after they claimed their service techs do a 200+ point inspection on the vehicles before they release them to customer. I guess that doesn’t include testing the windshield washer fluid works. But no problem, I call them, tell them about it. It takes them 3 weeks from initial call to installation. In that time I call them multiple times having to leave messages for call back trying to get follow up on if the part is in and when I can schedule service. No one called me back in at least 3 separate outreaches. I finally get ahold of someone and they tell me the part has been in for a week and a half, but no one followed up to schedule the service. So I take it in for this warrantied repair, they tell me it takes 2 hours to install. I know that it doesn’t because I’ve replaced this part on the same make and model before and it took me all of 20 minutes to do it. 2. I brought my car for tire replacement. It took over two weeks across three separate conversations to get the tires ordered and put on the car. In those 3 conversations I reconfirmed the size tires I wanted on the car. Low and behold, they install 4 tires all at the wrong size, not the size we discussed on 3 separate occasions. 3. Most recently I had a cracked wheel, again warranty covered part. It took me 4 weeks from initial conversation to me getting the part in hand. I say in hand because I ended up installing it myself to avoid the continued nonsense from this service department. In short, I brought it in for them to get photos to submit to the warranty company, from photos taken to the coverage being processed took 2.5 weeks. Now I’ve had plenty of warrantied work done at other dealers and it’s never taken more than 48-72 hours from initial diagnosis to processing the warranty claim and getting the parts approved to do the work. So I show up for service at 11:45am, they tell me the whole service department is out to lunch until 1pm. I say okay, I’ll come back in the afternoon. I come back at 3:30, adviser tells me they can’t put the wheel on now because it takes an hour to mount and balance a tire. I said no it doesn’t it takes 15 maybe 20 minutes at most. They tell me to come back tomorrow, I said no, here’s what we’re going to do, you’re going to sell me the wheel and I’m going to put it on and I’ll deal with the warranty company myself. So I put out $900 of my own money to not have to deal with this service department anymore. I took the wheel to my buddy’s house, installed it myself using his mounting and balancing machine. Just for fun I timed myself, it took me 13 minutes and 38 seconds to do the whole repair. But it takes an hour to mount and balance a tire, apparently. More
