3rd time back to get my Frontier serviced since my new purchase from Peltier. If there was another Nissan Dealer closer to me (Mineola) I'd more than likely be going there. Service work seems OK. My Truc purchase from Peltier. If there was another Nissan Dealer closer to me (Mineola) I'd more than likely be going there. Service work seems OK. My Truck needed the 15k scheduled maintenance work done....per my Owners Manual..... What I got was some "multi-point inspection which covered SOME of the 15k scheduled maintenance items but not ALL. Example. The Transmission Fluid was suppose be check for deterioration using the Nissan CONSULT. Also the Differential lube level was to be checked. Neither item was done. Instead, I got a Brake Fluid change recommendation...for $270. I guess next time (20K) I'll come in with a "list" of items that the Owners Manual state to be accomplished, get a quote and go from there. I don't think the Intelligent Driver Alertness system is working and discuss the matter with the agent working with me. No one seemed to know how to check its operation other than to suggest I drive the truck more and see it the system operates (been doing that for 15k/ 12months) OR... make an appointment to get the system diagnosed. Wasn't really clear to me exactly how the system was going to get "diagnosed". I suspect the Nisan CONSULT (computer) program could tell if the I-DA system is setup and operating properly.... More
