Now I'm having issues with the backup camera, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, I know call and make an appointment your service departments are horrible, here is the rest of the story. We also purchased a 2017 Edge paid a lot of money for the maintenance package to 150000 miles to include FULL synthetic motor oil, well I take it in and they put regular oil it they said they drained it and put FULL synthetic in, never have any wiper blades, never lubed it, so I can't trust your service dept. at chapel hills either, Now I do all the maintenance myself which I paid for, didn't make that mistake again on the new truck. Here is a question will you give back some of the money on the maintenance agreement? I'm sure your laughing all the way to the bank on that one. Now I have an issue with the steering, when you are in park and move the steering back and fourth there is a knocking noise, sounds like in the rack and pinion, so trying to make an appointment is another nightmare, I'm still trying to make an appointment. Don't get me wrong I support Ford 1000% won't own anything else but the service is the problem with Phil Long, you know we have purchased mostly new but some used (over 10 vehicles) thru the years from Phil Long and always had service department issues. I guess my next step is to contact Ford Motor Company, probably won't do any good but I need to try something. What ever happened to honesty, trustworthy, a mans word means something, it all starts at the top, it's all about the money, say hello to Jay C. More
Recently purchased a new F-150 Raptor here from out of state as they had exactly what I was looking for. Nicole was incredibly helpful in getting things worked out over the phone and holding the vehicle u state as they had exactly what I was looking for. Took my truck in for an electrical issue, not helpful This dealership kept my truck for several weeks, gave me the run around and completely misdiagnosed it. Didn't spend 20 minutes looking at or attempting to fix the vehicle. Literally lied about it and blew through promised dates, I finally picked it up demanding my keys back, it was packed out back, same spot. Also I picked it up and they had fixed 1 issue which is now a problem again so yea, complete waste of time and money. Would no longer ever step foot in their dealership. Service manager was rude, and did not return my phone calls did not reach out upon request. You literally could get better service from Mc Donalds. Took it to another shop, computer was fine, (Phil Long claimed it was bad and needed to be replaced, but "couldn't find it"), the other shop (local independent) fixed it in and returned it to me in a day and a half. You read that correctly, another shop fixed their 6 week debacle in 30 hours. It was a wire short, just ran some new wires and all was well. I have never been treated so poorly at a dealership in my life, and I have never pulled a vehicle from a shop. Failed completely to deliver, and didn't give two hoots about it. Customer service was absolutely abysmal. I even said, alright if its not fixable lets get another truck, find me another used Ranger and I'll trade it in. No response, nothing, no follow up, nothing. I even tried to contact management about it guess what, surprise surprise no return phone call. My neighbors even offered to let me use their car because it was gone for SO LONG!!! Would not step foot in a Phil Long dealership again, ever! More
