He was friendly, answered all my questions well, he was attentive, and very helpful with all my concerns. Often you go to a dealership and feel like they're simply trying to fleece you for every cent they can. This was the complete opposite of my experience at Phil Long Motor city (NOT Chapel Hills Phil Long). There were perhaps a couple of questions James didn't have a readily available answer but he always found out for me. As a consumer, price is always a concern. The folks from James on up to Mr Barton the President worked with me and we came up with what I thought was a great and fair price. They double checked to ensure I had all the available rebates and discounts. The day following the purchase I had an additional concern which James and others researched for me and helped give me peace of mind about my purchase. They are a business and have to make money at the end of the day or they don't stay in business. Some dealerships though see the customer as someone to be fleeced without regard to any future business. Not so with the folks at Phil Long Motor City. I will be highly recommending them to my friends in the future. They treated me with respect, as a friend, and someone they want to do business with in the future. Excellent car buying experience! My wife and I had been in the market for a new vehicle for some time. Having analyzed our needs and researched various models, we narrowed our search My wife and I had been in the market for a new vehicle for some time. Having analyzed our needs and researched various models, we narrowed our search down to either a Ford Edge or a Ford Escape. I reached out to the sales staff at Phil Long Ford in Colorado Springs. I was quickly contacted by Michael Keef. Michael inquired as to the models we were interested in and promptly set up an appointment, promising to have exactly what we were looking for. The next morning my wife and I met Michael at the dealership, and to our surprise, Michael had already pulled several examples of the vehicles we wished to see. He facilitated test drives in both models and completely and accurately answered all of our questions. Michael was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicle systems and driveline options. We decided on a Ford Escape, but had a very specific options list and vehicle color which we wanted. Michael then took the time to show us a perfect example of "our" vehicle, even with the knowledge that the color wasn't our favorite, just to ensure that this was exactly what we wanted. He then quickly located an Escape which met every requested option/color, and even though the vehicle was at the Dealership's Denver location, Michael immediately arranged for the vehicle to be transported to Colorado Springs. A few hours later, my wife and I were sitting in our new Ford Escape Titanium in Magnetic Metallic! We could not have been happier. Michael Keef honestly made this car buying experience enjoyable! Ted Sykes in Finance then worked very hard to ensure that we got the best rate available and that we fully understood every aspect of the finance/purchase procedure. More
